  • Well since getting back from the shops I have emptied the dishwasher and put it on, cleaned out the furry moron, emptied all the bins in the house into the outside bins and washed my winter coat. DH has vacuumed the living room.

There is so much more I would like to do but I have a back ache so I'm resting it now :(. Thankfully DH is cooking tonight :D .

I would love to have the energy to vacuum the rest of the house and clean out the microwave, but that will have to wait for tomorrow. Along with starting the mammoth task of sorting through DS2's twenty rubbish bags .

A traffic cone has appeared in the back garden recently (from DS2's room I suspect) so that needs to be subtly disposed of . We have a policeman living next door too :eek::rotfl: .

I wish I could take a week off work and just do housework. Then the house would look the way I want it to :o. I want to have a major spring clean before Christmas, so after the wedding I'm going to draw up a timetable of jobs sround the house. Hopefully I can persuade DH to do some of the jobs :D.

I forgot to weigh myself this morning, but haven't had any chocolate yet. I'm not really craving it either :T. I've been snacking on bananas and wholemeal toast.

Thought I'd fallen asleep and woke up in spring for a moment when I saw your spring cleaning list :rotfl:

:rotfl: to the traffic cone! When I was a LOT younger, I walked home from the pub with a traffic cone on my head. My friend and I were singing in the street and a policeman stopped us as there had been complaints about the noise. The policeman allowed me to keep the traffic cone as long as we stopped singing. My mum wasn't amused when I got home :)
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • That's hilarious SA :rotfl: lucky the policeman had a sense of humour :rotfl:.

I guess I should have called it an autumn cleaning list :). I always get the urge to spring clean before Christmas rather than in the actual spring :D.

  • Ah, that just reminds me how much I need to do as well! You're organised by creating a list! x

  • There's more chance of me actually doing them if I've made a list :D. I really want the house to look clean and tidy for Christmas.

I forgot to say that DH got two letters from the final creditor today saying he owes them nil on the two accounts and his credit file will be updated as partially settled :j.

I treasure all the letters like that, we've got eight now :T. I feel like laminating them, framing them and hanging them on the wall in a sort of debt-free picture gallery :rotfl:.

  • It is tempting Nicnak, I love getting them out and looking at them :D. They'd have to go in our bedroom so the DC and my parents (not to mention all our other visitors) didn't see them :rotfl:.
