Thank you TF2
. Yes I don't want to offend her so I'll need to be diplomatic. I thought I'd say that I'll leave her with the last four as she's good at getting them to eat their dinners and that I'll go outside as I enjoy chatting to the children in the playground and getting to know their names, etc. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Excellent strategy - you get to do the job properly and still maintain good work relationships. Gosh, what a minefield it can become. Still it sounds to me like you are doing really well - a 'round peg in a round hole' !!0 -

. It is a bit of a mindfield! Hopefully she won't be offended but I need to do what I know is tight. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

It's great that you are managing to get some experience from the TA as well. It sounds like you are dealing with the other colleague very diplomatically

I agree that your diplomatic strategy is the way forward. I'm pleased to hear though that you work so well with the TA. It was very helpful of you to do her filing as a way of saying thank you.
I hope things resolve themselves with DS3's lease. I think you are correct in that the best option all round would be for DS2 to lend him the money for the upfront rent. Best agree first though as to how and when it would be repaid. You don't want the brothers falling out about money further along the line.
Hope you enjoy your time today with your aunt and uncle.:)Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Thanks SSG
. The TA is always really nice to me so I'm always happy to help her out with something.
DS3 thinks he could pay DS2 back as soon as his next loan instalment comes in September, so it should be okay in that sense. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I had a very good day today
. I enjoyed volunteering and had some safeguarding training in the morning. I'm hoping that the more training I get the more willing they will be to keep me around
. I managed to find a red top to wear as it was red nose day. At lunchtime I went down to patrol the playground once there were only five or six children left eating and my colleague seemed happy for me to do so, after all it doesn't need two people to keep an eye on six children! So all around a really good morning :T.
Then I walked home, ate lunch, changed my clothes and then dashed out again with DH and DS1 to meet aunt and uncle at our nearest NT place. We met them in the cafe and chatted over a cup of tea and then walked around the gardens and looked at all the daffodils, camelias and primroses. It was really enjoyable, although a very cold wind. I always enjoy seeing aunt and uncle as they are so kind and positive
.
I'm just recovering now before I cook dinner. I love a busy day but I'm glad it's Saturday tomorrow. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
