Lurker on your diary. That is wonderful news and so well deserved. What a great amount too, hopefully take the pressure off your day to day worry over having enough to pay the bills. What a buffer to have in the bank. So pleased for you.0

Always good to see a fellow MSEer get good news, congratulations!

DH needs a laptop to help him with his work so I'm going to give him £400 for that
. And I have to confess to buying two pairs of trousers and two tops today on my Saturday saunter that I can wear to volunteering and work
.
But apart from that little (or not so little) splurge I'm going to keep £3000 of the money in my savings account as an emergency fund, which will give me great peace of mind
.
I've still got hopes of DH's RBS Adv@nta card because we found four years of statements showing PPI payments for that and he was self employed during that four years. They're still looking into that. So fingers crossed for another payout
.
Hopefully I will get more hours at work too at some point in the future so I can earn more money, as lovely as this payment is, it won't last forever if we don't address the real problem which is not earning enough money on a regular basis. This does buy us some breathing space though, for which I'm very grateful :T.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
