Hurrah for the south getting some snow instead of the North, it's cold though . Happy to hear you are taking on an extra day volunteering, it will be lovely to spend more time with the little ones .

At least you won't get woken up tomorrow morning now with DH not going to Networking. Fingers crossed your money comes tomorrow.

    Stay warm .

  • Crikey all that snow down South and we just have pretty hoar frost in Yorkshire.

Happy you are increasing the volunteering.

As for Brexit I plan to grow lettuce.

We have got snow too Hairy,I took the dog out and it was like a blizzard,it's settled here but is only a couple of inches deep,it's stopped again now but the forecast was for quite a bit of snow tomorrow night so I don't know if we will get more tomorrow,it was very slippery because it had been raining all afternnoon so it's slushy
I'm hoping it won't be bad enough to stop the buses because I don't want to walk to work on Saturday :(

Forgot to say I have done my snow and brexit prepping.....I bought an extra loaf of bread today:rotfl:
Seriously though,I think I am going to stock up on a few basics because I got caught out in last years snow and nearly ended up living off of cake :rotfl:

  • Cold but snowless in the East Midlands, south west looked bad on the news. I've had to have the heating on more than usual or I just can't work.

Good thinking on the volunteering, they are lucky to have you.

Thanks Sally :). Our garden is too small to grow veg so we'll just starve :rotfl:

I hope the buses are running because you won't want to walk all that way in the snow . I want the school to stay open because I don't want to miss volunteering. I don't think we'll get much more (famous last words) and it's only a light sprinkling.

Living off cake sounds good in principle but you'd soon get sick of it, literally :rotfl:.

Thanks Redo :). It is hard to work when it's very cold, it seems to affect the brain function and it's hard to use a computer with frozen hands .
