We have chicken too as none of us are turkey lovers and even if I liked goose which I don't there is no way I would pay £43 for it. Ridiculous price. We have a chocolate yule log too but it will be eaten on Saturday when we have friends over but hopefully a few spare pieces for Christmas eve/boxing day. We are over at DDs for xmas day.
Thanks ES.

I'm intrigued by the pickled onions with a roast chicken dinner. Is it a Devon speciality?0 -

I don't think so :rotfl:. I'm going to have Linda M beef roast instead of chicken as I'm vegetarian. I hope I like it as I've never had it before.

I felt a bit sad when I woke up this morning. It's probably because we're going to my mum's house for Christmas lunch with stepdad, and my mum won't be there
. Anyway aunt and uncle will be there and they are very nice.
I'm looking forward to Christmas being over really but need to try and enoy it for the sake of DH and the DC.
Tonight I'm going out with friends, so a busy day of social activities. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
