    Cor heck! Another busy day for me!

    Mr T this morning where I spent £70.75 on the week's food, so bang on target more or less :T.

    Then I bought a few bits for Christmas :xmastree:. I got a bottle of red wine for £6 in case I feel like drinking (I feel conned because it should have been £5 reduced from £7 and I've just checked the receipt :mad:) and three packets of Mr T finest mince pies for £4 reduced from £6. Plus 24 coke zeros for £6 reduced from £8. So a total of £16 on Christmas food and drink. So much for not buying any Christmas stuff today :o.

    After that I put everything away, ate lunch, then wrapped up four D3benh@ms vouchers for some family members (£40 spent there) and £10 each in a card for my little nephews. I walked up to the post office with DS1 and posted those. The postage came to £2.63.

    Whe I got home I realised I'd lost a voucher and spent ages looking for it :mad:. I eventually found it and I've wrapped it up, so that will have to go first class tomorrow :mad:.

    Then I put some laundry on to wash and emptied the kitchen bins. I feel shattered now so I'm glued to the sofa, but I feel like I've got a lot done :T .

    TOTAL SPENDS
    £70.75 Week's food
    £16 Xmas food and drink
    £60 presents
    £2.63 postage
    TOTAL = £149.38 :eek:

    You've been a busy bee HH. I find Mr T/A3da and Mr S often get my shopping wrong :mad: whilst the budget newcomers do not.
    Have a relaxing evening.

  • I hope you manage to dry out very quickly:coffee:

    It's been drizzling here rather than raining hard but it's so windy and gloomy:(. OH had to take his car in for its air con service and was happy that it didn't need re-gassing (whatever that is). Well, his wallet was happy anyway;). He decided to go for a walk round where the car dealership is as there are some interesting business units that he never usually gets to see but he ended up very wet as the rain started in earnest in the town where he was:eek:. I was going to go with him for a change of scene but I opted to stay at home and do some jobs that always seem easier when I have the house to myself. Glad I did now:j

    I usually phone them so they can log my call. Keep the receipt and get the £1 back when you are next in.

  • Do ring them. I’ve had cause to do so on several occasions and every time my issue has been dealt with without question. Every pound counts. When Dad was still alive we did all his shopping and one of his treats was a four pack of Leffe lager costing £5. I didn’t check my Sainsbury’s receipt properly until I got home and discovered they had double scanned the lager so charged x2 £5. They refunded this without question which I thought was really fair because I couldn’t actually prove I hadn’t bought two so go for it.
