When I got up this morning I must have been a bit tired because I didn't feel like doing the gardening I'd planned ☹. However I knew I'd feel miserable if I sat around so I forced myself to go out.
Once I'd planted all my flowers in pots I felt much more cheerful and more motivated 🙂. Luckily I had half a bag of compost left from last summer because the stuff I ordered online hasn't arrived yet. Then I weeded one of our three borders and it looks much better now, you literally couldn't see the soil for weeds before 🌿. The pots look lovely; my Violas, Ranunculus and white Heather are flowering already and the others will hopefully flower later in the season 🌺 🌸🌼. I've only got two more borders to weed which I'll hopefully do tomorrow and then the big garden jobs will be done. Afterwards I sat in the garden for an hour to enjoy my efforts 😁
I've been eating easter eggs for the past three days and I'm well and truly ready to stop. I feel sick to death of chocolate and it really saps my energy when I eat too much 😒. So tomorrow I'm back on my healthy eating. I'm going to start the day by walking to my local shop and buy diet coke, tomatoes and grapes 🍇🍅. Then if I feel like chocolate I'll eat fruit instead. After a day the cravings will pass. I haven't left the house for five days so I'm looking forward to a walk to the shop.
Two of my Rosemary Conley dvds have arrived so when DH is working I'll try them out 🤸♀️. I dont' like doing them when DH is in the room.
I hope everyone had had a good and safe Easter Sunday 🙂 🐣 🐇.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Glad you went out in the garden Hairy, it looks lovely 😊, I pulled myself together yesterday and got the house sorted, then today at work we only had two patients on the whole unit so I got into a bit of a cleaning frenzy, one of the nurses told one of the doctors not to sit at the desk because I would be wiping him over with an anti bac wipe 😂 it's weird because I have loads of motivation at work, we have a huge cupboard where all our medical supplies are kept and I spent one day last week taking every item out one by one, checking the expiry dates and replacing it all in the correct places, people tend to just dump things on shelves so it was a mess, it looked lovely after and I'm pleased to say was still tidy today 😊

There is something very satisfying, HH, hearing about you making your home environment tidier, more organised, job by job. I can almost see it in my mind's eye when you describe the things you do. They might seem mundane activities, but you have a gift for description that elevates them beyond the domestic grind..5 -

. The garden was a right mess before I started but looks much tidier now. I've been fitting in a bit of relaxing too.
