Have you thought about looking into online courses HHOD? Many universities have free online short courses in a wide range of subjects as part of their public engagement remit. No prior knowledge needed for many of them. Mine even has some resources for families, teachers & group leaders (eg brownies / cubs etc) which might come in handy work wise in the future?
Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

. I'm already in the middle of a course which has been moved online and I have four assignments to catch up with. I think another course might make me feel a bit overstretched. It's something I could think of when I finish my current course though
.
I was looking for something I can do that will de-stress me, or give me something to do in the evenings when the others are watching telly. I do need a bit of mental stimulation, but in a relaxing way like a crossword, iyswim.

Great news about the delivery. I have just caught up and read your down day. Like you said, there will be lots of ups and downs over the next few weeks. I guess just take it all as it comes. Sorry about your neck and not feeling so energetic. I find that when I do less, I am sometimes more tired.
Take care x

Take care x.You're right about feeling more tired when you do less, so I will try to get more done. It's suddenly feeling purposeless now that I'm spending so much less time at school that's thrown me

I think that's also the thing Hairy. You are used to that structure, but at home you don't have anything similar.
The house being tidy is for you, but at school the classroom benefits everyone in there. I don't think I am explaining it very well, but it's about having a purpose to other people other than those immediately around you.
Hopefully this will all be over soon, and we can return to some level of normality. Although I do suspect things will never be the same again. x

I love the school routine, the fact that I'm too busy to ever feel bored, I'm constantly challenged, constantly out of my comfort zone, constantly learning new things and the fact that I'm helping hundreds of children and a dozen or so staff. School is a frenzy of activity and I love it.
Home is lovely and I love my family, but I need more stimulation than I can get at home. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
