Morning HHD
Hope you and yours are all well and that you enjoy your half term break. Will you be continuing with the TA job when you go back? Hope the storms aren't causing you too much havoc. Have a great weekend. xx

Hope your weekend is relaxing,HH, despite Dennis, who is currently whistling round our house and making the aerial groan !
Finished my first week as juror by convicting someone of dangerous driving, discounting his description of another driver as pure fiction !!
Back in on Monday at 9am, though the other days were a more civilised 10am. Real workers, of course, will think nothing of a 6.40am alarm, but for me, having to shift my whole day 2 hrs in the wrong direction is difficult. However the jury service itself is great - lovely to have been picked again.7 -
Thanks everyone
. I'm looking forward to a week off. I have two assignments (at least) to do and lots of housework plus I'd like a day out at a NT place (weather allowing) and the wedding next weekend. So it's going to be a busy week!
I nipped into town this morning to get some toiletries we'd run out of and to do a quick top up shop. It was torrential rain and gales 🌬🌧☔ but I'm used to getting wet 🤣 After that I've done some washing and housework. I'ts nice to know I have a whole week to catch up on things.
I hope everyone is having a good Saturday so far.

. They were talking as if I'll be doing the TA job after half term, as one of the teachers suggested giving me a bit of training in something, so that's a good sign
.

The storm doesn't seem too bad where I am but it must be worse for people in rural areas where it's less sheltered. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

The weather seems a bit better this morning, although still not great with rain and wind 🌬☔🌧. We heard a big bang at bedtime last night 😱 but I can't see anything damaged so hopefully it was just a wheely bin blowing over.
Today we're going to Mum and Stepdad's old house to pick up a few small items. This may be the last time I ever go there. Then on the way home we're going to nip into Mr T and buy some food. We'll treat ourselves to coffee while we're there as I rarely physically go to the supermarket any more and it makes the whole thing less tedious.
I've put some towels on to wash and I ought to stir myself to go and make a list for the supermarket.
I hope none of you blow away today.
