I’m pleased the head asked you. How long will you be covering the 2 days for? What year is it with?
Have a lovely weekend in the sunshine.

Thanks Milann :). Once the TA has her op she'll be off for eight weeks I was told, so that should be sixteen days cover that I'll get paid for in total :money: :T. It's with year one. There's a couple of challenging personalities in the boy heavy class, plus one autistic child. So it should be good experience for me :).

This morning I went into town with DH as I discovered some slight blemishes on the placemats we bought last week  so we decided to return them along with the coasters and get the money back. I also returned the leggings and dress and got £64 back :money:. The money will be useful as we're a bit short at the moment.

In town I bought some ear drops as I'm fed up with my right ear being constantly blocked and not being able to hear the children properly :(. I also bought two hand creams as they were half price and a new toothbrush. Then I bought some coasters as we'd returned the others and I want to protect our new (to us) coffee tables from rings.

So a total of £126 was gained by returning items :money:.

    Spends were:
    Coasters £9.75
    2 x hand cream £4.90
    Toothbrush £1.45
    Eardrops £4.99
    Coffees £5.50
    Fruit, etc £6.65
    TOTAL £33.24

I got £1 off the hand cream with my loyalty card and they will last a long time. We're really pleased with the coasters and love the design so I think that was worth the money. More money was gained than spent today so I'm pleased about that :T.

With Christmas coming up, car expenses and trip to take DS3 back to uni, we need to be very careful with our spending at the moment. I'm hoping I'll get paid extra for the first aid course but don't know when or how much. I'll be doing the TA cove, but again I don't know how much I will get paid for them or when. Last time I did cover I was paid MTA rate and not TA rate. But I'm still glad to have the extra money. Anyway there will be plenty of expenses to swallow up any extra earnings so we need to be careful with our spending.

I've been buying a few bits towards Christmas. I've got a tub of chocolates which were half price and four half price chocolate oranges. It will help to spread the cost anyway.

I hope everyone had had a good Saturday so far :).

  • Today we're going to lunch with stepdad and fiance as some other relatives are visiting (their treat luckily). I'm not really looking forward to it but I have to get used to it. After that we're meeting my niece at the pub for a coffee/drink and a catch up which will be more relaxing. So it's going to be a busy day.

I've managed to iron two pairs of work trousers and a couple of other items this morning and washed my hair.

Tomorrow is going to be busy as I'm shadowing the TA all day plus doing my lunchtime job .

Then I've got Pilates at 5.30pm . I'm going to be very tired by then but I haven't been for about two months and I haven't seen my friend for ages. So I feel I ought to try and go. Perhaps I'll just be lazy when I'm there and not do many reps :rotfl:. I'm going to be very stiff as I haven't been for so long and I'll be tired after my busy day, but I don't want to give up Pilates.

I just need more energy from somewhere. Has anyone got an energy tree? :rotfl:

I'm not looking forward to DS3 going back to uni next week :(. He's been home for three months but that almost makes it worse because I've got used to having him at home and I'll miss him :(. He may go on the coach mid week or travel with DH and I next weekend. I hope he travels with us because then we'll be in a car with him for six hours ;).

Our weather looks like it's going to be showery for the next two weeks, but we've had some lovely weather up to now so it couldn't last for ever.
