Pilates was good but my core feels very weak. It was nice to see my friend again. I've done 16,552 steps, 37 flights of stairs and 68 active minutes so far today, so I should sleep well tonight :).

    Blimey that is awesome.
I dont that is a week!!!

  • I didn't need to get to school until lunch time today, so I folded up and put away laundry from the two clothes horses and put another wash on. I didn't do much apart from that as my back and neck felt a little achey.

School was good and it was another lovely sunny day with a little breeze, I'm so glad I have an outdoor job on days like this :). I met my Pilates teacher in the shop on the way home and we had a little chat. She is really lovely.

I timed getting home perfectly as DH had just finished putting the plywood on the toilet floor and he's done an excellent job:T. I had a lot of dust to clean up though as he was sawing in the kitchen .

This afternoon I've washed some more clothes and hung them in the garden, emptied the kitchen bins, and disposed of some rubbish that appeared in the kitchen from DS2's room.

It's been so hot lately that DH and I have been sleeping under just a sheet! I hope this nice weather continues when I break up because I want to get DH and DS1 (and hopefully the other two) away from their computers and outside on some day trips. I'm the only one in this house who gets exercise and fresh air on a daily basis.

I hope everyone is having a good Tuesday :).

    You sound chirpy HH.

I love the sunny weather as I can dry clothes and the house feels nice and aired.

Well done DH for sorting the flooring.

I am also in a clearing and decluttering mood. I got rid of some unworn shoes that are just too uncomfortable and life is too short for sore feet :)

    Have a nice evening.

Thank you both :). I do feel better than yesterday but I don't know why. Maybe the children have worked their magic or maybe Pilates did me good.

I don't know how I'll feel tomorrow, but I'm thankful for feeling more cheerful today.

  • Tomorrow is the anniversary of my mum's death. I don't feel too bad today considering that fact, but you don't always feel the way you expect to and sometimes I feel awful about it just out of the blue for no reason. When I feel more cheerful I try to go with it because I don't know when the next difficult day will strike. I do think the children at school work magic on my mood, better than any anti-depressant, and I'll miss them over the summer.

I can't believe how quick that year has gone. At least the children will help take your mind off things during the day. Taking things one day at a time helps, acknowledging that there will be bad days but the good days will outnumber them.

Hopefully you'll keep yourself busy over the summer break so you won't feel down.
