FWIW, I really like the premium version of MalwareBytes. I rarely pay for any software -- and I've never paid for security software before. But it works well, has a simple interface, doesn't slow down or otherwise interfere with normal PC use, and eliminates the need for an antivirus.
I've posted previously that I have the Enterprise or Corporate version of MBAM which basically does the same as the Premium version. I got it via here at MSE when someone posted a Today's Deal link (quite some time ago). I've not noticed the application itself updating but the database updates almost daily.0
