Today hasn't been as productive as yesterday, I've just had a well deserved day off from most things.

I did manage 1.3 miles non stop today, took me 20 minutes. I need to focus on building this up as much as I can.

Tomorrow will be a busy day I think. Again I haven't returned that top because I haven't been anywhere but I decided that its fine because I have to go to the same place tomorrow before uni anyway to pick something up.

    Tomorrow

    Return top
Clear 2 items from the spare room - rather than the dreaded thought of clearing it all out I will do a little bit each day. I have cleared 2 items today.
Run 1.4 miles - Going to up this by 0.1 each time giving myself a couple of days off each week.
Go over uni work, make sure I am up to date.

Thank you Nicnak, we don't find out until 22nd Feb! I think that's pretty ridiculous considering my first exam was around 9th January!

  • That is a long time. Writing down your goal, i find, helps to achieve it. How are you getting on? x

  • Ooh good work on the running!

I'm definitely a list person too - although mine tend to grow as I'm working through them as I add things on!

Fingers crossed for the exam results although I agree that seems like a long while to wait for them!

Thank you all for stopping by. I seem to have lost track of everything again, time seems to be completely passing me by and getting away from me.

My energy switch didn't complete so £80 will come off my TCB balance, apparently my meters automatically change to credit meters when I change so I have had to reapply, this however has saved me more money as the company I was going to switch to are not the cheapest for a credit meter. I will still get £21 through TCB but will save more over the year. Going back less than a year my projected annual bill was just shy of £700, it is now around £1050!! My switch will apparently bring this down to around £750 so potentially a massive £300 saving although my monthly direct debit will be the same as what I currently top up by so I'm not sure how that works, I think the most likely thing is that my annual projection was wrong and I haven't used as much as they said I would. Either way I should be saving as my account could end up being in credit. I guess I will find out in a few months time.

Haven't been earning anything from surveys etc for a while, I really need to try and find some time to get back in to this with birthdays coming up, my balance in my amazon account has gone down to around £120 from £160, I need this to at least double by April. I did recently take part in a focus group at uni which bagged me a £10 voucher and have cashed out on PA (£20).

Tomorrow my debt total comes down again and I will finally hit that 30% mark. I'm not really sure what to do with the money I am trying to save towards the overpayment, they have said they aren't asking for it over this year, I'm not sure whether they might reduce next years student finance to get it back or whether they will ask for it back once I have finished my degree so I don't know whether to keep it in a seperate account to earn whatever interest I can on it or to phone them up to see if I can make payments towards it every so often, I just don't want those payments to come off my actual student loan balance.

I'm rambling a little now so I will finish with a list for today as I have so much to catch up on as usual!

The overpayment figure - until you have in black & white from them that they are now planning to reclaim this from you I would personally stash it away in an account somewhere earning whatever interest you can get on it.

Also need to get back into the surveys - otherwise I'll reach the end of my 0% with money still outstanding on the card which was NOT the plan.

Yes that's what I was leaning towards I think EH.

Its hard isn't it, keeping on top of everything and then having to prioritise some things. We try to juggle everything but sooner or later something has to give. I'm sure you will get on top of it and that card will be cleared before the 0% runs out. I
