One entry per person.

Closing date for entries is 21st October 2017.

Entry is via the Oman campaign site omancompetition.co.uk

Entrants must be residents of the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man and must be aged 18 or over to qualify. Proof of residency may be required to qualify valid entrants. The Promotor is The Sultanate of Oman Ministry of Tourism. Employees of the promoter: The Sultanate of Oman Ministry of Tourism; and the partners Hawes & Curtis and Travelbag are ineligible to enter this promotion. The promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Eligible Participants. The prize for this competition is provided by Travelbag.

Prize Details:

Two economy class return flights from a London airport to Muscat, Oman
Five nights accommodation in a standard room based on two adults sharing (aged 18 and over) at the 5* Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa Al Bandar
Daily breakfast
£500 Hawes &Curtis gift voucher
The prize does not include:

Airport transfers
Holiday Insurance
Meals and drinks not specified above
Any other tours and excursions
All other expenses are the responsibility of the prize winner/s.

The Prize is valid for travel between 1st November 2017 – 15th October 2018.

However, the Prize cannot be used between 18th December 2017 – 7th January 2018, 26th March - 7th April 2018, 5th – 8th May 2018, 25th – 28th May 2018 and 15th July - 5th September 2018

The Prize is subject to availability. Travelbag reserves the right to offer alternative accommodation of similar standard in the event that there is no availability at 5* Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa Al Bandar on the winner’s chosen travel dates.

The Prize must be booked by 15th December 2017. In the event that the winner does not book the Prize by this date then Travelbag reserves the right to cancel the Prize. No Air Miles, air points or any other loyalty scheme rewards can be redeemed or collected in relation to the Prize.

It is the responsibility of the Prize winner and their companion to ensure that they have valid passports, any necessary visas and vaccinations. Please refer to the FCO’s website https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice for up to date travel advice. Holiday insurance is NOT included and is highly recommended. It is the responsibility of the traveller to arrange suitable insurance.

Any amendments to, or cancellation of, the Prize made by the winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges and/or cancellation fees, which will be the responsibility of the winner. Any amendments (including name changes) will be regarded as cancellations and a penalty will apply.

The prize cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative. The prize is non-transferable.

The competition is also being co-hosted at https://www.escapismmagazine.com/competition/ and https://www.squaremile.com/competitions. All entries from all sites will be collated and one final winner drawn.

No purchase necessary. All data collected will be pooled for the prize draw. Incomplete entries will not be included. It is the entrants' responsibility to complete the entry form in full. The promoter is not responsible for any technical issues (or other) which impede an entrants' entry being submitted correctly and/or in full. The promoter is not responsible for any changes in e-mail, mailing address and /or telephone numbers provided at time of entering the prize draw. The promoter is in no way liable for the reproduction or indirect access via third party web site or home page access which reproduction misstates or omits any of the information or terms and conditions connected with the promotion.

The competition prize draw will take place in during the fourth week of October 2017. The winner will be chosen at random by an independent judge from entries made by via the site. The judge’s decision is final, and no further correspondence will be entered into. Once notified (via the email address supplied at point of entry), the winner will have 7 days to reply with acceptance of their prize. Should the selected winner not reply within 7 days of being notified, then it will be deemed that the prize winner has forfeited their prize, and a re-draw will take place. Same rules will apply for the re-drawn winner (should this scenario occur). If after 7 days there has been no acceptance notification received, then the prize will be cancelled. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. The winner will be liable for all costs and expenses not stated relating to claiming or partaking of the prize.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel this competition, or to change any condition of this competition, without notice. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of this prize and without notice in the unlikely event of a major catastrophe, war, earthquake or any actual, anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation or any similar event or if circumstances arise outside of its control, or if the winner does not comply with any of these terms and conditions.

The Promoter nor any other person or party associated with this promotion shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss or damage) disappointment or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this promotion or with any prizes offered, nor for any loss arising out of any failure of any third party to fulfil its contractual obligations in connection with this promotion.

The winner may be required to take part in reasonable publicity as specified by the Promoter. By entering this promotion and ticking to accept the competition terms and conditions, you accept that the The Sultanate of Oman (the promoter) and partners (Hawes & Curtis and Travelbag) may use your name for their promotional and publicity purposes, without the payment of any fee, nor the requirement for prior notification or permissions. You also accept that by ticking the opt in box, that you will automatically be subscribed to future communications by the promoter and individual prize partners, however you may unsubscribe from each company's communications at any time.

The Promoter cannot be held liable for IT system failures or delays or loss of entries.

I saw a prize on omancompetition dot co dot uk (won't let me post links) and I thought it would this forum would be the best place to share it with you guys on this forum!

The cost of that for 5 nights would be too expensive, it's a lose-lose.
