As a matter of interest some of my family know the chief whip.
We all wonder about the IAS ??
The one thing we do know is the IAS is a scam set up
by Gladstones solicitors
If someone knows the chief whip, maybe he could
whip Theresa May into shape0 -

This is snakesbelly's thread.
Both, forget about the IAS decision it was extremely unlikely it was ever going to go your way and its unlikely the reasoning can be used against you if it goes to court as it will likely be severely flawed. There are some classic responses posted up on the forum.0 -
Hey all,
Just thought I'd post an update (can't attach photo of letter sorry... I'm a newbie!) Today I received a notice of intended court proceedings from the VCS.
I've heard a few things about this letter, either ignore it until a letter from the solicitors shows up, or, reply with something like "I have no intentions on paying until I receive a letter from your solicitors.
How does the community think I should proceed? Obviously I don't want a CCJ which I've heard can happen if things are ignored.
Thanks ☺️

if this is a real LBC then it should follow the new protocols introduced 2 weeks ago on 01 oct 2017
so does it ?
an LBC can come from the PPC or from their solicitor, either is allowed0 -
OK, thanks Redx. It's from the PPC, where can I find if it conforms to the new protocalls? The contravention occured in July, so would the new protocalls apply?0

Yes, they do.

PS - they’re ‘protocols’, not ‘protocalls’, nor even ‘photocalls’

the new protocols have been listed by umkomaas in numerous threads recently, please read them
the protocols apply to any NEW lbc or an NEW mcol from 01 oct 2017 , even if the incident was 5.99 years ago0 -
Hmm, well that's insightful. No such letter of claim present which is now required. In fact, when I've been Googling it, it looks like they're using the same court notice letter for over a year!
It starts with "we are disappointed to note that you failed to pay..." I may reply with "I'm disappointed that you have not followed the correct procedure..."
What do you think?
Thanks for all your help (and I'm going to blame the fact I'm on a mobile for my horrendous spelling of the word protocols).0 -

Yes. I like to repeat their words back at them, it's an amusing way to set out your reply.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
