Today I calculated how much debt we are in. £16,676.84.
All on 0% credit cards.
I worked out how much was owed on each card and when each 0% period was up. It works out as follows:
Barclaycard: £367.40 till 1 October 2017
Barclaycard: £926.10 till March 2018
MBNA: £1345 till 27 June 2018
Post Office: £4225.55 till September 2018
MBNA: £6920.46 till 26 September 2018
MBNA: £2892.33 till Augsut 2020
I'm just going to tackle them one by one. Make the minimum payment and then overpay in order to get this debt down.
Lets do this.

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Few necessary spends today - petrol and top up grocery shop - as well as unnecessary spends by OH - coffee and a treat for our 3-year-old son. Coffee for OH, not toddler :rotfl:
Been thinking today about birthday gifts. I have a big family and usually spend £20 on the adults and £10 on the children. So that's £200 I need to save towards presents. I usually try and buy something for the value of £20/£10 but try and get it cheaper using vouchers, deals, sales, etc. Usually I top up the gift with other smaller gifts to bring it up to the value of £20/10 but I've stopped doing that! So would be interesting to see how much I've saved so far by doing this - started doing this last month. Will have to start a spreadsheet
. And start transferring money into savings to cover this expense. 0 -

Thanks Tea&Kittens, have subscribed to your thread and will read it in full later today.
No coffee purchased on way to work but I do need to get myself lunch today. Big food shop coming tomorrow - lots of soup needed I think, it's freezing!0
