I bought the two nail varnishes as I thought I was getting a bargain when combined with the 'free gift'...

The package arrived and was in pieces with glitter everywhere. I send an email to their Customer Services (ha ha) and waited a few days for a response - when nothing came back I emailed again and finally had an email responses last night - nearly a week from my first email.

The emails that I had last night said that were re-sending the 2 x nail varnishes - then to rub salt into my wounds they sent another email stating they were refunding me the cost of the free gift..... a grand total of £0.00...!!

So essentially, as I understand it, they are sending me two new nail varnishes and no free gift, for the same cost that I initially paid..... I am absolutely flabbergasted - really poor Customer Services.

I've sent another email stating that the 'free gift' as advertised in MSE was the reason I bought the goods from Boots in the first place and that I expect the free gift to still be available to me - we'll see what happens...!

Are there any Boots reps on MSE?

Does anyone have any knowledge if they will be doing another points event soon? Hubby wants a toothbrush and its been reduced by £100 but its still £260 :eek:

And yes, I know its not very MSE, and yes I do think he has lost his mind.

According to MSE weekly email is indeed this set. “Star Beauty Collection”. On Boots online it is shown as 3 for 2. Will this discount remain when it’s a star gift I wonder? (No online stock shown but plenty at even tiny batches near me according to “check stock”)

In recent years Star Gifts are no longer o nthe 3 for 2, when they go on offer that week, sadly!

From what time on Friday will the star gift be available online? Will it be from midnight Thurs/Fri, or from around the time the shops open?

I'd like to get one if possible.
