    its basically to help shift them so less for boxing day sales since i work for them it seems they want less stock for the sales

    No, you could go in with and get a refund and get one from the shelf and buy it again reduced provided your store has stock.

    If you have your receipt the best way would be to reorder online at the new reduced price to collect instore. Then when you collect your new one return the other one for a refund. Just remember that if it was in a three for two you would have to return the free one as well.
