At my local a pint is anywhere between £3.50 to £5.50
  • £3 to £4
Depends on the pint. At my local actual pub it's between £2.80-£4, but at spoons, well, we all know how cheap and cheerful spoons is
  • £4 to £5
It's about £4.20 near me. You get the odd Wetherspoons/Yates that does them for about a £1 less.

It would be interesting to have an option (or a separate poll) to find out how many people no longer go to the pub for a pint but simply buy in their beer from a supermarket and drink at home these days

Its going to be a hell of a lot.

Up the football club £2.80 for a pint of calsberg.

The dodgy one down the fairground £1.80 for a pint can of cider.

I think you need to be a bit more specific. Like a pint of John smiths is I think £2.40, carling £2.90, Guinness £3.20. I went on a date the other day and they had an offer of a pint for £1.50, don't know how often that happens though

A pint isn't a pint though ... you'd need to compare like for like.

A pint from a tiny brewery, handmade by virgins and stored in organic oak lined barrels, aged for X months and delivered to the pubs by a green electricity supply van ... would be different to a pint of Yer Regular Lads' Pint.

Somebody might prefer the former - and declare "It's £7 where I drink!" - but the next pump at the bar might sell another pint made from Gnats .... for £3.

£4.20 in Shoreham by sea but over £5 in many places in Brighton. 8 cans of Carling from the co-op (built in a pub car park) for £9 on Sunday night, don't even grace the pub anymore.
