    I sling them in the recycling and when I buy something new I decline the offer of hangers.

    CS's here won't have them, they get them donated by shops by the shed load they don't need the few us mortals gather.

    Definitely take them to the charity shop, I took a load last week and they were so grateful to have them.

    Keep an eye out when you buy clothes, some shops ask you if you want to keep them and others just throw them in the bag anyway.

    You can place them in recycling containers at larger Tesco stores (never seen them at any another supermarket).
