Email from Natwest asking for my bank details

I keep getting ones for NatWest and Halifax, i don't do NatWest online banking so i knew it couldn't be real because i don't even do it!
And the halifax one is suspicous because the url is a subdomain... ie confirmdetails.halifax.banking.co.uk

I forward them on straight to NatWest and Halifax.

I get a dozen a day from one bank then a dozen a day the following week from another bank.

Links are a dead giveaway e.g. h**p://www.natwest.com.scambank.com/login.php - The bold dot shows that 'www.natwest.com' is just a subdomain of scambank.com

I've had loads of these too.

I like to think I'm pretty savvy but because I recently opened a Natwest account and the e-mails starting arriving shortly after this - I nearly opened the e-mail. :eek:

Anyway, I didn't open them and all is well, but other people must do it and lose money to these people. :mad:

DS gets 2 or 3 a day in his email account he is 7 !!!!!!!!!!!

Mine go into my spam folder and get automatically deleted.

I forward the occassional one to the bank just to keep them informed.
