Obviously there are syns in the fat but if you enjoy it then that's fine if you have the syns to spare.

I have to throw chicken skin and pork crackling straight in the bin or I'd eat it. A woman at SW used to put it in the dog's bowl to stop herself taking it back out! For steak I cut it off first, don't fancy it raw. :D

    Evening everyone.

I'm off to Spain to see DD tomorrow so will miss weigh in this week - just as well because I have had a 'hungry' day today! I sometimes get these following a migraine and I've learned to give in to it and undo any damage another day.

Mrs R and Sunshinemummy, clothing sizes do seem all over the place nowadays, even within a brand or particular shop. I think M&S can vary massively and Jacques Vert seems better for petites - my tiny friend has some lovely Jacques Vert items and she goes a size up.

    Have a good week all.

I have to admit when I was slimmer, I bought a jacket from Next outlet, the size that fitted me was a 10 - I am sure it was mislabelled and was actually a 14. I always cut labels out, but not that one.... I used to flash it everywhere! :D:D:D:D:D

I have huge portions too :rotfl: when i saw some pics of food of people from group first thing i said was i must be a pig:rotfl::rotfl: i have twice as much as them literally, but then i have twice as much speed and aint done me no harm;)

    I would like to report a 2 1/2lb loss also SOTW :dance::D

Well done bubbs, but no matter what I could not eat fat off meat. Westie had got me reading about the ketosis diet, I understand the science but cannot get my head around eating fat!

  • Congrats bubbs :T That's a great loss. I'm secretly hoping I'll get SOTW at some stage. I want the extra shiny :rotfl:

Week 1 -5.5 lb:eek: Shocked as I checked on my own scales this morning and I'd lost 2 since Sunday morning. One of the scales, probably my one, is off. I weighed just over a pound heavier this evening with clothes and food in me.

I hated having to talk during image therapy. The poor consultant, it was like drawing blood from a stone. I just didn't know what to say. Felt like such an idiot :o

    Evening everyone
Thanks for all the kind comments about the dress! It feels really odd to be comfortable in my clothes although I'm fed up of hiking my jeans up :D I had size 20 denim leggings on today and I got so fed up of hiking them up :D Just went for a walk round Sainsbob's today with mum. Also nipped to M&S as mum had some vouchers from her Sparks card- one of them was money off the Count on us meals so she bought one each for me and her. Had it for tea tonight with extra veg- it was amazing and surprisingly low syn. Felt like a real treat.

    Today's menu:
B: Slice of melon, two boiled eggs, 2 Crackerbreads (2 syns) satsuma. Cup of decaf coffee with HEXA s/s
L: M&S Lochmuir Salmon and potato salad (3 syns) strawberries, water. 1 Ricola Sweet in Sainsbury's (1/2 syn)
T: M&S Count on us Haddock Mornay with mash and peas (2 syns) carrots, cauli, green beans. 2 glasses of NAS Vimto, Apple, HEXB 2 x HiFi bars
Supper: bowl of pease pudding and veg soup, cup of decaf tea with HEXA s/s, 2 finger Kit Kat (5 syns)
    Syns: 12.5
    Steps: 7389
    Night all xx

Fantastic result whiplashy . That's brilliant! Not like you to be lost for words!:)
Why not message the consultant and tell her you're pleased really.

New week, 105 lovely syns to enjoy! :D

Sounds like you've had a good day MrsR . Visiting your mum is like a SW holiday. :)
  • That's a great idea maman. I'll drop her a message tomorrow. I can chat away in here no bother, but in front of a group of people I've always been bad. Hoping it will get easier as the weeks go by. If not I might consider asking her to skip me.
