This weekend I managed to get a coat on that I have not worn for 8 years.... the last time I wore it I was between 12-14. It is a Trespass medium. When I say wore, I had the coat on, and zipped up, I could not breath/sit down.... it was more like a sauna suit!

To be a 14 would be a minor miracle for me lol

Didn't go kayaking - went to see mum & as we went up late & hubby had to do some work afterwards, I walked mutt...so I did body magic but in a different way.

Did a batch of chilli for son to send him on his way to his first home.

Going to try SW's Caribbean Jerkpot tomorrow - should challenge my culinary skills.

    Hello,

Hope everyone is well. I've finally managed to catch up a bit on the thread. Lots of good advice, losses and laughs as usual. I do appreciate you all, this thread helps me so much and I don't think I would be making the same sort of progress if I was going it alone.

GETTING THERE, you asked what had I done differently to warrant a 3 lb loss. I'm quite baffled myself to be honest. For weeks I was stuck and now I seem to be moving again so maybe it's just one of those things. The only things I have been doing are making sure I have my heB, I wasn't very good at this. I'm also drinking a lot of water and this week in particular I haven't had as many syns as I just haven't fancied chocolate or crisps as much as I usually do. Very strange I know! I've been very active this week so maybe this has helped too.

MATRONMIDGE New York in December will be amazing. It's gorgeous around Christmas time, I'm envious!

MAMON, it's so frustrating when you seem to lose and regain the same pound over and over again. I hope you get over this obstacle soon.

Well done to all the losers and commiserations to anyone who has gained. Just keep plodding.

Well done WHIP for joining your group, I hope it's a good one and that you get great support from it.

WIZ, I hope your lurgy has disappeared. Wishing you well if you're not quite there yet.

BUBBS, is your crustless quiche a SW recipe? I think you have posted images before and it looked gorgeous. It's always a good option to have in the fridge and I've prob got all the ingredients in already. I'd be so grateful if you could point me in the direction of the recipe please? Also what is Haslet? I thought this might be a mistype so I'm curious to know if it's a real thing because I've never heard of it!

I need to do a bit of batch cooking, I've let things slip a tad and have nothing lined up for tomorrow. It's so easy just reheating leftovers or something batch cooked.

Gotta go, wishing everyone luck for the week ahead x

beanie, your team is playing very well and deserves their lofty position! Croak ...

Lying Dutchman – I love that, maman!

Had grandkids overnight, then DH took them out to the bowling club open day. This wasn’t planned so that meant they stayed over lunch, so I had to conjure food for them. Then DS and DDiL popped in on the way there, so tea etc was taken. Then DSiL came in after collecting DS’s daughter (don’t ask) from bowling, so more tea etc. Then the other set of parents came back with the 2 boys (one belonging to DSiL) so more tea etc. All left except DS and his daughter, more tea etc. Eventually DH arrived back, so more tea etc again. The tea was fine, it’s the etc that was the problem! Better luck next week, I hope.
