Great effort, bubbs, beanie, Tete and Whiplashy.

    Oh, TIE, poor you.

Love is.......coming home & finding hubby cooking you a ham, but cheese free, omelette
Or in my case, bringing home 4 amazing cupcakes, which he was given for picking up a friend’s kid from school. She’s a professional baker. Really not SW friendly but ….

Our village celebrated Hallowe’en tonight. We had 22 guisers. We’ve lived here for over 40 years and it has always been celebrated on the Friday. No one seems to know when that tradition started. I suspect it may be a combination of no school in the morning and pay day. Then again, it may be something entirely different.

I've had a not too bad week. Ate a couple of cheese cobs at darts th other day which will be a few points but I don't think I've done too bad. Walked 9 miles return trip for my yearly blood test. Boy I'm aching today lol. Tomorrow going to Blackpool on a coach trip for the illuminations which I'm really looking forwards to as normally Saturday's watching football and pretty much all sports day.

Well done everyone and welcome newbies/ returnees. To the one losing 8 stone - that is truly remarkable.

I do a lot of slow cooking and 10.5 hours seems a very long time. And you do need a bit of liquid.

Well done on the losses. :j

I’m just home from work, making myself some chips in the actifry. Early overtime shift in the morning.

Anyone seen the multi green “rice” steam bags in Iceland? It’s a mix of broccoli, kale, spinach and seaweed. Great for adding speed to your meal. I had some with my chilli tonight and was quite tasty

Will look for these, thanks. We got the SW rice bags last week and we're trying broccoli rice tonight.

It has been a long week.... but at least it is a loss... I wished my scales were accurate. I will report a -1lb, but am sure that line was just below the stone marker.... bubbs... I am still chasing you!

At a wedding tomorrow and staying away, so that will be rather naughty! x

  • Morning all,

It's - 1.5 for me this week. I was looking at the chart (thanks GTS) and collectively we have lost an amazing amount this challenge. This is the first time I've beaten my target and in fact I've lost just shy of a stone this challenge at a loss of 13 1/2 lbs. I'm now within sight of my initial target of 11 stone and think I might reach it in our next challenge. I can't actually believe I'm saying that considering I was 14 stone at the start of the year. I need to keep track of what's in my wardrobe as I've tried on a few 'old' clothes that were far too small on me and now they are too big!

I'm determined to make a real go of the next challenge to see if I can hit that target. I know it's a tricky time of year but I'd be so proud of myself if I did well.

Wishing everyone a lovely weekend x
