    Morning all

I've been lurking but not posting - mainly as I've being feeling blah - even after a good meal I'm feeling hungry & cold & am constantly tired - it's either the change of the weather or I'm going down with something

Miss Teach you must be really pleased with your results so far !

Anyway wi today shows a -1/2 so it's still going in the right direction but would love for it to go a little faster.

So I'm going to try an experiment. I've always eaten yogurts but I'm not going to have any this week & before I go to bed I will drink my 2 litres of vodka.

Hopefully this will give me a boost

Flip.... that is a lot of alcohol to have!

WI with another .5 on  bit fed up but only myself to blame. Only little bits extra here and there but it all adds up and bites you eventually. Also mega tum issues so bloated and in pain :( even doubled up my meds’ but downside is even more tum pain :(
Oh well let’s hope for a better weekend while I avoid the windy weather conditions. Stay safe all :A

If you're bloated that could be a very extra pounds in fluid, so try not to let it knock you, you are doing fabulously x

OH just said to me 'we'll take dog out after this game' he is watching football. He has already had me power walking for an hour, then I had mum for 5 hours (I need anti-stress tablets), and just sat down with cottage cheese and beef snack.... I know he means an hour power walk... and he means well, but I want pizza, alcohol, blanket and a good film on the telly!

    Evening all
Feeling very meh recently- pretty down in the dumps :( my lovely GP called me this morning to check I was okay as it seemed that my psychiatrist had sent them a letter warning them to keep an eye on me- she’s a lovely lady and I just ended up sobbing down the phone to her for about ten minutes- things are not easy for me right now. :( She did however congratulate me profusely on my weight loss and told me to keep the good work up so I promised I wouldn’t let her down. Tried to cut back on the syns today as the last couple of days I’ve gone up to 19.5 and my losses have stalled a bit- tried to eat as much speed as possible also.

B: HEXB Quaker Super Goodness Porridge with HEXA Alpro choc soya milk (finished the carton so 1.5 for that) chopped banana, raspberries, water
L: Subway salad (1.5 for dressing) fruit pot, lots of water
T: SW Mexican chicken with cauliflower rice and mixed salad, plus a bit of ginger and Cajun spice on the rice to make it a bit less boring. NAS Vimto, Fab lolly (4 syns)
S: Boiled eggs mashed up with smoked salmon and SW potato salad (sounds disgusting I know but I actually quite enjoyed!) water, 2 rice cakes (3 syns)
    Syns: 10
    Steps: 7054
    Night all xxx

Sorry you are down at the minute, keep plodding and take a day at a time xxx

    Good morning all,

It's a STS for me this week.

Thanks Gettingtheresometime for taking over the chart this week. I'm grateful as ever.

MrsR, I hope things get better for you. I'm also going through a really rubbish time at the moment and my best advice is just to take one day at a time and remain positive. You are doing really well at your weight loss so as Maman said to me a while back, it's good to be able to have control of that area of your life even if everything else seems crazy (thanks Maman :A)

BUBBS, I live on your quiche, thanks again for the recipe, though I have adapted it to add potato. Your food always looks great.

MissTeach, those photos are truly inspirational, especially the one where you are in one leg of your old trousers. Your wedding dress looks beautiful.

I hope you are having a peaceful holiday KATHRYN and I was really sorry to see you had been in hospital. Hope the holiday passes without incident and is relaxing for you.

    Today's menu will be -

Breakfast - yoghurt with strawberries and honey
Lunch - veggie quiche a la BUBBS
Tea - SW baked bean lasagne leftovers with spinach and rocket
    Syns - honey 2
    HeB - hifi bars

For info, if anyone is an online SW member, they are now selling hifi bars online to members. However.... I last bought these at group about 7 years ago and loved them but now, OMG they are half the size!!!! I was so shocked. They are now sooooo expensive for what they are. I was so disappointed!
Thankyou and glad you enjoy it.
    Well doe on sts xx
    Even that uses calories!

When I am stuck in traffic I have started moving my arms ..... I am sure people in the car next door to me think 'what the ****'. But every little helps, we don't have to be running marathons to get exercise x

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It sounds like you are getting the right support, which is really good. You don't have to promise anyone that you will do something and won't let them down, this brings feelings of guilty and shame which are so destructive. Enjoy your loss, enjoy your food, enjoy being you x

Apart from the days I go off plan, I have not been using syns but I am going to buy some fab lollies today!
    :D:D:D:D:D

I love the advice to take one day at a time, it really works x

Off to find baked bean lasagne ..... that sounds yummy

    :D:D:D:D
OMG enough wind already without you making that:rotfl::rotfl:
    Well done on your loss:T:T:T

1lb off.... which is a miracle as my tummy is really swollen and OH knows to keep out of my way!

    They sound dangerous! 39 syns for a giant tube!!

Pleased you had a loss sunshine.:T

Glad you found taking control useful msm.:) I feel so disappointed with myself when I've gained through my own lack of willpower. :(

As I've had to make myself focus on losing rather than maintaining lately it's been a bit of a revelation. Of course, we know it's the syns that cause the problems so I've been thinking about the syns I would really miss compared with things I quite like but can manage without. The answers will be different for any one of us. I think the hardest time is when syns are presented on a plate (literally in restaurants or other people's homes) then it is hard to resist.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, scrambled eggs
L: ham with fried veg and pickles and Satsuma at football (SP)
D: Aldi Lamb Rogan Josh, SW chips, pilau rice
Syns: HP sauce 2, curry 1.5, pilau 1, gin tbc;)

ETA: bubbs, would you post your crustless quiche recipe again please? I'd like to try one or breakfast muffins/mini quiche. I've only made frittata under the grill before. Any tips from anyone please?

I use 8 eggs, s&p peppers, ham, broc , onions ham , mushrooms, dry fry the veg, lightly grease a flan dish
Put veg and ham in dish pour beaten egg over, slice some toms for garnish and sometimes i grind black pepper on the top, bung in oven for about 40 mins number 6/7
