Sorry to hear about your cold deja vu. I do hope it doesn't last for weeks.:(

Looking at your menu, you only have 3 syns for the whole day. I have it on good authority (kathrynha told me earlier in the week:D) that SW suggest you should have a minimum of 5 a day. Now I don't follow that advice completely myself as I save syns for weekends and can go for days syn free during the week. All I'd say is don't go without completely whether you have 5-15 a day or save them up like many of us choose to. They're part of the plan. What we must avoid is getting fed up of a low syn 'diet' and going back to old ways.:)

Thanks Maman, WI tomorrow so trying to keep syns light today but they do average out ok ish over the week. Last week I finished on 64 syns, today is my last day of the week and will end on 57 syns + a few sweets yesterday for Diwali but they don't count do they?:rotfl:

Have finally got some wifi again today.

We are starting to go across country now and are planning on going to Oradour sur Glane tomorrow. Will probably stay for a couple of days. The plan thereafter is northish and heading towards the Black Forest. Will then travel through Germany for about a month or so ending up at the end November, early December at some of the Christmas markets before heading back through France for the final couple of weeks before coming home.

Foodwise is fairly good today with fried up potatoes and leeks, topped withfried egg. Was really tasty and will definitely be doing again, even when we get home.

Dinner tonight will be pasta with some sort of sauce using up the garlic and herb cheese which is in the fridge and needs using up.

    Afternoon everyone.

1/2 off for me this week - slowly creeping towards target!

A frustrating afternoon trying trousers on. Having lived in jeans for 18 months since retiring I'm starting a casual job where I need to be smarter. I hate trying on clothes at the best of times but need to at the moment as I'm no longer sure of my size. 14s seem too small, 16s too big. I've come home with a pair of insoles for some shoes - it cost me more to park! I think I'll try to make do with what I've got till I lose a few more lbs.

Well done Maman on getting back to target!

Sunshinemummy, my sympathies, I don't miss burning the candle at both ends to get through work (I think you might do the job I once did??)

Congrats Bubbs on your 4 st shiny and well done to all other losers.

Dragged myself to group because I remembered reading about an offer where you buy a 12 week countdown and get the new book free. But no mention of the book from my consultant  I'm too much of a wimp to ask her about it :(

Glad you've got electricity again, and you sould get the book next week.

You're going to be blaming me for any gains. Just had to correct a typo on 'gains' that was rather apt when quoting Maman :rotfl:

I am now officially in holiday mode.

GettingThereSometime now has the spreadsheet in her inbox, and is in charge, so you had better all be good. Be nice to her.

I will be online if I have decent signal, but probably won't post too much. Just fingers crossed I get to enjoy Devon, and don't end up 'enjoying' Exeter hospital!

Have a great holiday. I promise we'll all play nicely while you're away.:D And blame you for any gains!:rotfl:

Glad you got a loss esmy. They all help!:)

Good to see you again denise. Oradour sur Glane is an incredibly interesting and moving place. We're going to Auschwitz next month when we're in Poland. I want to go but expect to be very saddened.

I'll be adding about 3 more syns to today's menu. I forgot that we really like grated cheese on top of the cottage pie. I'll measure out 6 syns worth and share with DH.

    Have a good evening all.:)

So we've heard. It is one of the reasons we're going. Glad you're back in target Maman. It's always good to get there before holidays!

Enjoy your holiday Kathryn. Hopefully you won't need to go anywhere near Exeter hospital!

Internet is a bit hit and miss here but it's good to keep in touch when I can.

    Speak soon!
