Carphone Warehouse refuse to help
Hello,
Wondering if anyone could help.
I bought a Huawei P10 Plus at CPW with EE contract, after a long time talking to EE about lack of signal issues inside and outside theysent a engineer and informed me that the 3G mast was checked and all was ok.
They then informed me to contact CPW.
Contacted CPW support over the phone and was told according to coverage checker should never have been sold EE but Vodafone or O2...
They advised to go in-store and issue would be resolved...
I then go to store, to my surprise it was not resolved and was treated very badly by the person who attended me he was more worried about leaving than helping and basically said 14 days are over not our problem go talk to EE contradicting all that was said before by their own support and EE.
I reach out to EE again who informed they cannot cancel contract or help any further as phone was bought via CPW and it was a miss-sold item and said to return to store and they would talk to CPW.
I returned to store today, EE spoke to person at CPW store and they still refused to help.
This is really frustrating as now stuck on a contract where there is no coverage and since the 14 days have past CPW just pushes all responsibility to EE.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to say, it's taught you a hard lesson about buying a phone, or indeed taking out a SIM contract.
Above all else, check coverage, using a PAYG SIM and waste £10 on a top up if necessary.

I'm sorry, but your poll is meaningless and may actually be misleading to some people. The best network will vary depending on your location. As you've found to your cost, a network is no good if you've no coverage!0

Hi,
I'm confident we can help in regards to the signal issues at home. We have a really handy WiFi calling service which means you can call and text, even if you don't have a phone signal. There is more info on setting up WiFi calling on the P10 Plus on the following link; http://ee.co.uk/help/phones-and-device/huawei/huawei-p10-plus/setting-up-wifi-calling.
If you are still having trouble please go to our Get in Touch page here; http://ee.co.uk/help/get-in-touch as we have a live technical chat team that will be happy to advise you further on the signal issues. They are open 8am - 9pm Monday to Friday and 8am – 8pm Saturday and Sunday. If you’d prefer to call all our contact details can be found on the same link.

Totally agree!!!! Yes, learning the hard way on this issue. Note to self: do not take on contracts and use only pay monthly services.

Jenny in regards to Wi-Fi calling this is not possible as I also have very bad broadband service thus being important to have good mobile coverage.
My Internet speeds range from 0.5 to 1.5mb and connection is not stable.
Due to bad Internet connection using this service drains my mobile phone battery pretty quick.
Thus making Wi-Fi calling not possible.
I have requested CPW copy of support call were they admitted error.
Currently waiting for recording.
Any further advice would be greatly appreciated.0
