a confused.com (or other comparison site) account is essential for car shopping...once set up about the only thing you need to change is the car to get an accurate quote. I changed mine this weekend, the process of what to go look at was simplified no end by checking insurance costs online

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

My cars are unmodified and my spouse and I are both in our seventies, so you may well be right!I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0 -
My dad is with Saga and he has a Corsa funnily enough. TBH I'm trying to get him to stop driving as his eye sight is on the wain, but that's another story. He literally drives about 10 miles a week, and Saga were cheap enough for him last year, but their quote has gone up by 50% for this year, so I'm helping him shop around. OP, a higher voluntary excess should bring the price down. To be fair, you're unlikely to pay much less than £200, so reducing the premium from £345 to under £200 is looking for a saving of about £150 - try get a quote with a voluntary excess of £150 - if that reduces the cost to around £200, you're basically betting against not making a claim. No claim, you save £150; make a claim, and you haven't.0
