Haha...yes, decent coffee is the mainstay of my life!! In fact I was such a regular in the coffee shop opposite my office, that the manager Asked me out on a date.....and we have got married a couple of years ago. The directors at work bought us a mega coffee machine as our wedding present so I get amazing coffee made forme at home every day. Life really is so good compared with days of old!!!

  • I really am very lucky. Life has turned out well for me but I certainly don't take it for granted.

So....I cancelled some of the sky package, reducing the bill by £40 a month....that will make a difference to the mortgage overpay pot. Every little helps!

£40 a month is a great reduction, especially since you don't use those channels these days :) maybe now that your hip is healed?

And awwww! I didn't realise that was where you met your OH, I thought it was on the ski slopes :)
2023: the year I get to buy a car
  • No, he didn't learn to ski until he met me! Mind you, he has the bug now and is missing the slopes as much as I am this year. Pesky hip not quite up to hurtling down mountains this season!!

And, yes, it was my love of coffee and his noticing my love of high heels and pencil skirts that brought us together......haha!!
