  • £7 Ziffit money has arrived, plus a £5 referral fee from circle. Also £1.65 cashback for using my Hfx card and a whole 2p interest.

I've bought bread today for which I will get my money back via shopmium, and receipts have been uploaded on the receipt apps too.

    Every little helps!
  • £2.80 back already from Shopmium, and £2.49 in the bank from qmeee......October's "earnings" are not looking too shabby at all!

I think that's me up to date now, though - nothing more in the pipeline!

Sounds like its been a *very* happy Friday - my word! lots of dosh dribbling in ends up making a little waterfall :)

    Have a great weekend.
2023: the year I get to buy a car
  • Well, maybe not quite a waterfall....but it's not bad, and I won't complain!!
  • Hope you are all having a good weekend. Nothing much to report here.... except the decision to get marks and Spencer vouchers with November's SB earnings as we have ordered our boxing day food from there and this will be a cost effective way of paying for it. An equivalent amount will be transferred from the grocery or Christmas budgets into the money for nothing pot along the way.

Off to a family baptism today so looking forward to that. And very glad to have been able to benefit from the extra hour's sleep last night. Much needed!

    Happy Sunday x

Original mortgage £112,000 . Final payment due August 2027.
Mortgage neutral achieved August 2020 - 7 years early!!!
  • Almost the end of the month, and time to start reflecting on October's progress and look at my aims for November.

We had a lovely family day yesterday, which was a NSD for me, although I had of course already bought a gift, card and wrapping paper so not a "free" day as such.

Today I need a couple of bits from the supermarket but nothing too spendy, and I got a lift into work with a neighbour this morning, so will transfer the equivalent of my bus fare to the relevant savings pot. It all adds up.

    Have a good week, everyone!
