Dentist fees are really frightening  - I'm seriously considering a 'dental trip' to Poland. Has anyone else done this?

    Evening all! :hello:

    Well my spends today were:

    £1.50 bus fare
£3.48 in charity shop for a funky belt and a very pretty shirt that will go with a skirt I got last week. Result!

I have to go grocery shopping later - aiming for sub £50....well actually sub £40 if I am honest!

  • I thought that I would have a NSD today (I think that means a no spend day ? - I'm not sure about the jargon you all use lol)

However I had to go on a visit for work - I planned my food and took sandwiches, but I had to get up at 5.15am for a 3 hour drive, and on the way back I was flagging, so stopped and bought a chocolate bar and a pkt crisps - which of course at the service station was £1.20. This is still within my weekly £2 budget for such occasions, but it is bad on a monday already to have spent 60% of my contingency money.

I also spent £25.14 on petrol, for the hire car I had for the visit, but as I get exactly that back, I'm not counting it.

On a better note, those 2 purchases did allow me to put 64p in my jam jar, which wouldn't have happened if I'd had a NSD.

I just need to get my expenses in quick, as I need that £25 before the end of the month, or food will be a bit lacking the last week of October
