Nothing more to report this month so my total is £151.15.
Would just like to say thanks to everyone who talked about claiming PPI last month. I'd never really thought it was worth it as I'd paid so little but my bank wrote to me today to say that they had upheld my complaint and I'd get my money within 28days :j If it hadn't been for this thread I'd never have tried to claim :beer:0 -
WeBuyBooks - £7.36
Ebay - £2
£225.73/£300
I didn't make my total this month, but I did okay and I cleared some clutter out of my home. Heres to next month!0 -

well done! :beer::j
I keep trying to remind people claim ppi now, they can only say no, because soon you won't be able to claim anymore, or claims will be limited.
so get in there now while you can, anyone else who is still thinking about it. no time for thinking. put your claim in. they can only say no.0 -

sorry for being awol. it's life for me unfortunately. DS back to school, DH being a usual pain in the neck, and other things going on.
I also have issues with my internet on a nearly daily basis, so I rarely use laptop now because of that.
I got so fed up with it, I got onto live chat with sky, said what can you offer me? free broadband for 12 months I just pay telephone line rental. Even doing that is cheaper than telephone line with vermin, who were not prepared to offer me free 12 month broadband. Instead the lady I spoken to decided to tell me I was wrong in what I was saying, I am a heavy user., blah blah, blah. the usual stuff they give me. they have on their system I have 4 phones linked to wifi. yes I do, but what they fail to also see is that 2 of the phones are constantly switched off unless I switch them on to check an app or run something.
Otherwise only 2 phones linked to wifi. compared to my friends, our household is tame. We don't have xboxes or ps4. I run videos on my tablet for swagbucks and instagc and DS watches youtube.
now tell me I am a heavy user household.
anyway their cancellation team called after I told the first woman I am an EX IT person (true, I am, I ran my own service desk for an Insurance company) and I know perfectly well what I am talking about when I say their router refuses to acknowledge my laptop due to a Windows 10 issue. The cancellation team started doing the same, we can offer a discount of £10..... ok... no thanks.....by the way I am ex IT, I know there is an issue with my laptop win 10 and your virgin connection, it refuses to consistently acknowledge my laptop. it takes me an hour each time to get it to connect. I don't have that time to waste.
fair enough, sorry you are leaving, you will get a partial refund after your services are terminated.
thanks vermin.
S*y are offering me £15 a month telephone line rental charge. believe me its a big saving for me for each month! I won't include it. I will include my refund when i receive it in october.0 -
we didn't make the 1500 post challenge as I wasn't around, sorry folks.
I need to look through the posts on Monday to see what unusual items people sold and then maybe we can do a vote on the October thread or I will just say you are all winners lol.
I have promised a proper guide to instagc that is coming. I will try to do that monday.
I was doing ok running videos on it but last couple of days it hasn't credited. not had time to check why not, so will take a look at some point.
Shariann, would you do the wonderful honour of totalling how much people have made in september please. I will sit and work out my monies and post at some stage.
I did an online survey through people for research where I was linked to an interviewer and I gave feedback, £30 for 45 minutes feedback, paid into bank the next day.
also discovered another quite lucrative survey site, will post about that. But made £20 amazon from them, so managed to buy DS roller blades for his birthday. Just hope I bought the right size.0 -
£32.94 from MB and £0.42 from Qmee to finish off an excellent September for me
Wouldn't normally cash out such a small about from Qmee, but I was determined to get over the £450 mark today.
Takes my September total to £450.01.0
