hey bartgirl from a loooong time lurker, i never post as peoplehave already said what i want to, but to let you know that i amongst a lot of others are here for you and rooting for you, in your corner etc etc etc

but the main thing to remember is that even angels have bad days, so dont worry, look back on what you achieved last year, and know that this year you can achieve even more
If we can put a man on the moon...how come we cant put them all there?

Now I know why I was so moody..i think the Ladies'll know where I'm coming from on this..;) oh well.
Had a fab day yesterday. Went to opticians and no change on my presecription - they're not very strong lenses anyway..
Then popped into MILs cos SIL wanted some help with buying first car and Ebaying stuff etc. Spent a good few hours there and my SILs are really nice people - had our tea there; they fussed over DS as usual and he was so shattered that by the time I got home he went straight to bed..:j i then got my fave snacks out and popped on 2 episodes of Desparate H's on and had a fab eve in...goodness knows where GFN was....I'm on a weight gain diet cos i have dropped to 54kg now (8.5 stone) and I'm not proud of that. Before I had DS I was a healthy 60kg (9.5 stones) and went upto 10.5 during pregnancy - but this plummeted within 6 months of him being born...so i need to get my weight back up..

Other than that I've got 7 watchers on Ebay but no bids yet. I had interest from Oz!! bids end tomorrow..fingers crossed..have also signed up for another 2 focus groups. I had one scheduled for month end but would like just 1 more so i can make at least £50...shall keep u all posted!

I made diddly squat on Ebay yesterday. I am gutted...but shal list other items tomorrow eve i think..
I am quite pleased though that I have stayed within my call limits on my mobile this month - usually i go 'over' by about a tenner or so - which is mostly pic messages and texts to family abroad. This month i decided to set myself a limit of a fiver and I have reached £2.78 outside my call allowance :j so am well chuffed about that..

I also was tempted to spend money on a sarnie at work today but decided to use my Boots points instead. Which brings me down to 722 points roughly.

My petrol's still quite good. I aim at a full tank lasting a month - unless I travel somewhere out of the ordinary - and i am at exactly half tank.I have also decided that once the weather improves i shall top up my oyster card on a monthly basis - and hop on the bus occasionally. I started doing that in the summer cos it also reduces parking costs etc and the pressure to zoom around the shops within the first 2 hours - which does my head in !

Counsellor not called yet..left a message..

    Thats it from BG..

This time next week it'll be Pay Day so I need to start doing my sums!!

In terms of Ebaying - i sold a load of stuff for a friend on there - we agreed I'd take a 'cut'..only about 20%! ANd as it so happens she make just under £100 from her sales - then she decided that she wanted me to order some bits and bobs for her from another website - which i did..she spent all she earnt from Ebay and so i have all that sitting in my paypal acc :j i've already paid out for her goods from my current acc anyway - it just means that when my bidding ends this weekend - it'll be going towards that sum of money - which incidentally pays straight into my savings acc! I am so pleased!..I have bids amounting to roughly £15 so far - on my last items: once p+p comes off..and i decided to end a listing early when the buyer came round to collect the item before the bids ended.

I've a quarter tank of petrol left in my car - dunno how long that'll last - and i have my first Focus Group coming up on Fri while DS is at nursery.. a friend has asked me to give her a hand at a local craft fair on friday too - so hopefully i'll earn something small from there too..shall keep y'all posted!

GFNs nowhere to be seen so i've put DS to bed early - got lanb chops and chips on the go - and the last 2 Desparate H DVDs to go....cant wait :T

I think I over-did it with the spending yesterday..
I've now got a couple of 'p' to my name until payday now

Yesterday I went into town to get some meat and veggies - also went into aldi briefly. My 'budget' was a fiver in there but i ended up spending £9 on
    pasta sauce
    tomatoes
    kidney beans
    apples
    mango
    oranges
    cheese
    fishfingers
    eggs
    milk.

Admittedly these bits are to get us thru till the end of the week..

I then popped into TKMaxx and bought myself a handbag. I desparately needed one cos the one I had was a cheapie one from somewhere like primark and was ripped and i was so embarassed going into work with that. I decided to set myslef a limit of £20 and since New Years i've been looking everywhere for a decent one. I fell in love in TKMx and saw one for £16.99..within budget..yippee!!.it had a small mark on it (unnoticeable) and since was the last one on the shelf I decided to point this out to the lady at the till. I was really nervous but decided to ask if she'd knock anything off for that (..if u dont ask u dont get!) and she hesitated - called the manager - who said "OK only 10% but not returneable"..so i got it for £15.30 in the end! I am so pleased!...I then proceeeded to spend a fiver in the £ shop on a puzzle for DS, car for DS, a few J20s and a shower head cos ours is busted..

Meat I got for a fiver - chops and mince - and headed home!

My final Ebay items picked up bids overnight and have reached £15 not including postage..fingers crossed..only a couple of hours left now! ..

Are you thinking of transfering the Vanquis to a lower APR?
