GFNs behaving all weird. Weird because GFNs being civil. Can u imagine what its like to say that someone being civil is weird?...this another sign for me that 'its time'.. GFN has been saying things like 'hows yr day been?'..i almost collapsed  ..

But i aint falling for jacks*** i'm afriad. I am determined to remain focused - with my eye on the ball..;)

Have done loads this morning and posted the ONE SINGLE ITEM i sold on ebay - plus the few Xmas cards i have to send to friends / family. Luckily there was no queue in my post office this morning - 11 a.m.

GFN happens to be away all weekend so i have planned some serious blitzing of the bedroom and hope to have cleared and thrown away loads. Also have a few more bits to go onto Ebay this evening...shall keep you all posted..

    Hi BG

I've been catching up from the sunny island of Jamaica (family visit) and I'm shortly popping over to the US (Maryland) for 2 weeks then return to the sun. Am dreading the cold but looking forward to seeing my friend:T

Honey you are doing great and whilst I am concerned re little one's behaviour, I am confident that you will make the changes you need sooner rather than later.

I'll check in over the next few days as I've been without internet connection for 2 weeks so I've got a lot to catch up with.

You take care and stay strong. We all rooting for you :T :j :A

  • Had an AB-FAB day yesterday.:j

GFN left in the morning and i popped out to post office then went into Woolies. Most of the shelves were bare but there were still a few bits and bobs - DVDs, books, kids clothing etc. I got DS a car for £1.40 - which he has already lost  in the house somewhere.
    • spent a fiver in iceland - used two MOCs to the tune of £1.50!
    • spent £7 in woolies - choccies for parents and £3 stainless steel kitchen roll holder..not sure how MSE/DFW that was...
    • spent £3 at market on potatoes, bananas, apples and mushrooms
Then came home and began the 'Operation Blitzing!!' which involved clearing out loadsa old clothing; clutter - putting things away that were just cluttering up the room unnecessarily and filing stuff away as well. I did about 3 hours of that and intend to continue this morning until about midday me thinks.
I decicded to put EBaying off till today..everything is all in one pile ready to go on this afternoon! Am abit disappointed cos the Turbo Lister would not work for me and i think its cos of the anti-virus i have on the computer.Aaarg

Once DS was in bed I sat down with a reduced price Trifle and settled in front of the telly with my fave Desperate Housewives DVD set that i bought a few weeks ago for a 'special occasion'. I can never watch stuff like that when GFNs around cos he always makes comments and besides he always hogs the TV too anyway.
I was truly having a fab night in alone - laughing loudly etc until i was suddenly interrupted by the sound of screaming and shouting of 'U effing b****' thump-thump-thump. My neighbours. Oh my goodness i was stunned. I paused the DVD and sure enough it was them. I was stunned because it initially sounded like he was hitting her or smashing up the flat - and she's only a little lady - built like Kylie really..her bloke's not that much bigger either. But this went on for about 10 min and i had had enough so i decided to go knock on their door to ask them to 'keep it down' in the hope that maybe he'd stop the noise and leave her alone. However once i opened my front door i realised that he was outside their front door with all his stuff and had basically been thrown out. So the thumping sounds were him kicking the door etc. I was too scared to do anything at this point so crept back into my flat. All the other neighb's were peeping out their front doors too and someone must've called the Old Bill cos he was getting more and more irate. But what shocked me even more is the way my neighbours behaved once the Old Bill turned up...

They asked if we knew who he was and everyone just looked at each other blankly..some shrugged..others looked away - really strange! Then they asked which flat he'd been thrown out of - again no-one really responded.
Because they'd found him in the corridor I guess it was not evident to them which 'flat' had thrown him out.I had come out when i saw the old bill congregating in the corridor and i said "is she alright?" the old bill looked at me blankly and one neighb said "we're not sure who it is"??? however - the truth is that we all know! i still dont get it...
Anyway - it all kicked off at 10pm - by the time they'd restrained him - got him in the van etc it was gone 11pm and they finally left at midnight. They were to-ing and fro-ing throughout; causing a disturbance - which put me off settling back into my DVD cos i kept worrying that my neighb would be brought out on a stretcher...

Anyway - today's another day and blitzing must go on!!! :T

The event with your neighbours is another example of how we are reluctant to get involved in case of some repercussion. Mind you, I'm not sure I'd tell the police anything whilst my other neighbours were about, but I'd certainly think about contacting them later.

It certainly makes you think about the concept of 'neighbourliness' and how involved we should/would get in certain circumstances.

Back to you - hope you get your stuff Ebayed successfully.

You have been posting on this thread for 14 months.........

    Think about that.....

14 months when you could NOT have been having the rows, the huffy silences, the no money, the taking money that you need for bills, the lack of support for caring for you DS, the paying nothing for furniture, clothes etc etc.

You have had his sister tell you to get rid.

Please please don't leave it ANOTHER 14 MONTHS before you kick him out.

What do you need the savings for REALLY? You pay for everything from your wage now, so it is not as if you are going to be losing any money when you throw GFN out......

    good luck

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

  • EBay is working!

..not that it was broken in the first place...

But i have listed 9 items on there - since Sunday - and I have 17 watchers although only 2 bids...The 2 bids amount to £15 (excl postage) so i am real excited :j i know this sounds pretty lame but i've decided that i'm going to try and aim for £100/month from a combination of Ebay; Mystery Shoppin; Quidco and am planning to join green metropolis. I have about a tenner in my paypal acc at the moment - and am due £20 from Quidco at month end. So if i can make even £50 this month that'd be ab-fab!!

    Shall keep you's all posted...
