I've not been on here for a few days.
Alot's been going on.
First of all, I've had 2 LSDs
That's Low Spend Days
The last 2 days I've helping out a friend with her son who's 3. Its been like 11-12 hours. Was meant to do it today but i fibbed and said was taking DS somewhere - but I'm shattered, and her son is abit of a handful cos he's a loner and not used to other kids so i spend the whole time trying to keep my 2 yo away from him!! Cos he gets agitated and screeches if anyone tries to play with him..although he copies my 2 yo alot ????
Anyway - in true MSE / DFW style I have been making meals according to the meal plan. Wed was good cos OH was AWOL so his serving went to the friend once she collected her son after work..she was shatterd; bless her. The rest was to be frozen for later - although i was expecting a friend for lunch - i was in the process of defrosting something else then just decided to hang onto the same chicken stew and added extra veg, rice and friend and I had that for lunch. The kids had spag bol - the meat sauce I was gonna freeze but in MSE style I shall have that today for lunch with something else like kidney beans and pitta me thinks!
I spent £1.68 in ALDI a few days ago on fish fingers for the kids, plus bread, milk etc. The fingers'll last the rest of the month anyway. DS hasnt a huge appetite as it is..
Today I'll nip into post office to send off Ebay stuff thats finally alll been paid off. Also have decided what to do with my floor!! My neighbour's done the sticky adhesive tiles on her floor - they look alright - so i'll pop into the high street and take a look there too..
Have also ordered my juicer off Ebay :T - and saved myself a tenner using the code that Ebay sent me so i am so so pleased with that. I forgot Quidco but decided a tenner's savings is still a good start either way..So more fruits from market this weekend me thinks!!!
Signed up for a mystery shop I'll do on Monday too..CC1: [strike]1,500[/strike] CC2:[strike]£830[/strike] Vanquis [strike]£1500[/strike] £2000 left

Yesterday was a very MSE / DFW day.
Went to Asda and free parking cos spent just over a fiver on bits for the house. The most important item was the £2 easter egg with a mini pamper treat inside. I'll explain later.
I also posted the Ebay stuff, and £ 7 went on fruit and veg (hope the juicer arrives on Mon!). In the pound shop I got a pack of the tiles I like, and shall do a sample 'corner' before I make my final decision..DS got a £1 treat and I made an MSE style meal. I used the meat sauce from yesterdays spag bol, and made chilli con carne. OH liked this and asked if he could have the same for dinner; but add rice to it. So I did!! I also made butternut squash - for the first time - and he liked that addition too..
Today's meals shall consist of MSE style as well. I had a pack of frozen prawns I wasnt sure what I should do with - so i trawled through a pack of old recipes I've kept and discovered recipes I can do with ingredients already in the house :rotfl: so i'm really pleased about that.
Nothing on Ebay sold yesterday. I'm banking on today's listings now..plus listed further stuff to end next weekend. I shall add extra on Amazon as well. I'm really concerned about upping my income as much as poss this month - and having spent so little this month so far, I have decided to put the 'spare' cash into my savings - which has upped it to £ 496 !! I'm well pleased about that.
After having a conversation with a friend about my appearance - and why I'd not ironed something: to which i'd responded "I'm not on the pull" she pointed out that i should do it for ME if nothing else - a feel good factor. And she's right. Hence the £2 egg for the mini pamper treat, and also have cut out the Asda 20% off voucher and shall get me a pair of new jeans!!!! This is unheard of for me..but I feel I deserve it..
I also did a major clear-out and have thrown lots away. A few bits can go on Ebay as well, and have dusted the [strike]old[/strike] sturdy computer off - so that'll go on Ebay too..
I'm off to do the week's meal plan now, and put stuff on Amazon too..CC1: [strike]1,500[/strike] CC2:[strike]£830[/strike] Vanquis [strike]£1500[/strike] £2000 left
