I dont mean to hi-jack your thread but i was going to post a simular thing.

I have been offered a job interview later on this week collecting door-to-door for provident. I really need the extra income to get my debts down and help out towards Christmas (not that it will be a big flash christmas by any means). Feel a bit funny about it though ...... not sure if i can do it though.

    Hey pixie!

I'm sure most people will be used to having a regular collection and just pay up no probs.

You'll have to tell us what it's like, and if you encounter any problems along the way. (hope you don't)

I can believe that, and please be assured I don't mean that in a bad way. :)

Hi, just caught your post and thought I would mention that my DD used to work for them.. She did well in the training but left soon after because she was unable to cope with the pressure from the company in trying to obtain money from the people she had to ring. The hours were such that she was always asked to work overtime (as well as everyother saturday morning) for not a great deal of money.....targets need to be met and all in all a stressful job.... good luck!!
