Update - well, I'm finally out.

I initiated a transfer of my entire portfolio to A J Bell on 31st October, and it's JUST gone through this morning, two and a half months later. Barclays removed my ability to sell anything some time in November.

As if further evidence of their incompetence were needed, although my entire portfolio is now visible (and apparently tradeable) on A J Bell, it's still also fully present on Barclays SmartInvestor, so I'm currently enjoying the novelty of being worth (on screen, anyway) double what I thought I was!

I dare say it will be sorted out eventually, but I wonder what would happen if I called their bluff....?

Yes, much more comprehensive and (I feel) clearer. The only minor hiccup at the moment is that the "book" costs didn't transfer, so that column had either blanks or random figures in it; I was able to adjust some of the blanks myself (though not all), but I have been able to submit a full list via secure message and they will be updated in due course.

Barclays is now just showing a very small cash balance, although it seems to imply that that will be used for fees and is 95p too little. They deducted 95p from my bank account last week, then put it straight back. I'm just gonna wait and see :rotfl:
