Yay! I just cashed out £5 on Vypr so that should hit PayPal soon. I won't add it to YNAB until it actually arrives but then I can add it to the overpayment I've scheduled for the beginning of July.

This week has seen 2 NSDs :) and the return of my eldest from her school trip :):)

I've mostly only spent on essentials this week (although there was a small Pizza Hut incident :o) We went to my friend's birthday party last night and managed to only spend a fiver :T

Work has been better since our chat a couple of weeks ago. It's still busy, but it feels like we're all pulling in the same direction (mostly :p).

I seem to be managing to get some jobs done on the home front too.

Hope your life is as fabulous as mine at the moment :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Ok, here's the damage:

    Budgeted spends:

    Dance class
    Birthday gift from DD2
    Birthday cards
    Aldi
Birthday present from me for DD1

Unplanned but enough money in the pot spends:

Spending money for DD1's trip. £5
(this should have been planned, but I forgot about it)

    Pizza Hut. £24
Justified by saying DD2 deserves a treat as much as DD1
In reality I was too hot and couldn't be bothered to make lunch :(

    Unplanned, unbudgeted/ over budget spends:

    Clothes shopping. £75
There was around £28 in the budget
I don't buy clothes often and I've thrown out a !ot recently, but sti!!
They were all in the sale, but still

    M&S cafe. £25
    (Hangs head in shame:p)

    On the upside:

I had 2 NSDs last week and another 2 so far this week.
I haven't put anything on credit.
My guilt made me finally pay over £55.12 as an OP on my remaining interest bearing card. I've had the money in the pot for ages but kept worrying that something would break if I actually paid it over and that I'd need it.
I haven't done any top up shops this week, unusually.

I know I need to be careful now, with the holidays coming up.

I just got my BC statement which includes my overpayment. This has made me ridiculously happy!

My current balance is £1,041.52 and I have a minimum payment of £27.61 to make in August. Once I add on the interest of just under £19 (I have nowhere to transfer it to avoid this) I need to find £33 to break that £1K barrier.

I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to realise how motivating this would be, but I'm sure I can find that £33 next month. In fact, I already have £5, so I only need to find £28. I can do that!
