its simple. the uk is largely english speaking and has a culture different from the other EU countries. in fact each of the EU countries have different languages and cultures and so there should not have been an EU in the first place.

you can not mix languages and cultures and expect a unified political/economical situation. looka t the US - all individual states form part of a united nation. all states have language and culture in common. without common culture and languages you can not have a political union as its impossible to cater for everyone.

Have you ever been to America?

It would have been odd if the UK was invited. Yes, yes, the UK doesn't take refugees in (opt-out), yes yes the UK is not part of Schengen (so no movement anyway) and yes, yes we should help them near their home countries (cause really they stay there to wait).

The EU finally has the excuse to dodge the UK, go for it!

  • The peasants revolt! There will be no going back. The loons, duffers, kippers have made it so. Time to knuckle down and get on with it. Political BDSM.

We are knuckling down and getting on with it. That said in my organisation we've already drawn up a list of known employess who voted for Brexit. If things turn downwards our plan is to disband them first. There are no qualms in head office with this approach as it's what they voted for.

So the UK now has no say in what happens in her own back yard. And no say in her back yard's back yard.

And according to Brexit people that it some kind of win.

Suggesting that people are stupid is offensive. Precisely the mistake the political elite made. Money makes people detached from reality. Doesn't buy one common sense unfortunately. We are equals. All though some would prefer that we aren't.

Not all people are stupid, however gullible racists are. The vote was only won on a small majority and I have no doubt in my mind that denseness on one side was a majority contributor.

The EU caused the problem, I'm very happy for them to sort it out all by themselves.

You were comparing the EU to the Tories though. I can express my opinion at the ballot box regarding the Tories. The EU can dictate and I have no voice.

You get to vote for a government based, if you wish, on their policy towards the EU. You get to vote for your MEP and can lobby to get your view across.

You also got to vote in a referendum and decided your voice being heard by the EU wasn't that important after all.

You just wanted out of the EU - it being about democracy isn't the reason.

There's no HoL monitoring the EU and holding it to account. Media barons no longer control the news in the era of internet social media. Arguably a pop star or band has equally as much influence over a section of society. Money has always talked when it comes to politics. That's a fact of life. As Gina Miller herself proved.

Don't forget the Queen. As well as us having a brilliant system where the unelected HoL protect our democratic rights we've also got an unelected head of state who I'm sure is also really interested in your voice being heard.

"France’s aggressive attempt to use Brexit to steal business from the City and set up Paris as a rival financial centre to London is doomed to failure, the City of London’s Brexit envoy has told The Telegraph."

The City of London's Brexit Envoy?

The Telegraph have no shame when it comes to scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Can you explain to me how the EU caused the refugee crisis and how we are now better off having no say over crisis immigration to the continent in which we live?
