Here's what generation Z are seeing on social media - and why 'progressives' are in a loosing battle - shouting instead of debating;
This is merely 1 example of vast numbers of vids generation Z are consuming showing the childish intolerance of the left;
Here you YET again see the left unable to debate and resorting to infantile shouty hysterics. The fun begins after 21 mins in the debate here - and culminates with the infantile's physically blocking the speaker until they are thrown out. 24 MINUTES THE SNOWFLAKES START SHOUTING 'SHAME' IN EARNEST
Note the STUDENT crowd reaction when they witness lefty intolerance / fascism in the raw.

I'm all for free speech, argument and debate.
Spamming the boards with just links is not debate.
Who are you to police freedom of expression? That's the very definition of totalitarian fascism, what's happening right across America and why the left is in rapid decline there.
I don't police your freedom of expression.
Your reaction above is whats happening right across social media and people are sick of it
The left will never win the great debate with such infantile intolerance
I was band here for using the word louuun - yet I've seen lefties here using it several times since. But guess what, I'm an adult and don't report it to teacher. I'm confident in my arguments not to need to resort to childish snowflake safe space antics0 -
There is concern from a group however (and I don't know how big this group is) for the environmental impacts that this may have on these countries.
Emission Analytics offers a range of gradings for cars (air quality, fuel efficiency etc) - see http://equaindex.com/
Interestingly it appears that hybrids may not be the "be all and end all" that some media sources like to present

IMO it does seem perverse, to scrap a useable vehicle, when its initial cabon footprint was established long ago, and cannot now be reduced / changed, even if day to day it is not quite as efficient.0 -

It's not freedom of expression - he's not expressing anything. He's filling up pages of links with cherry picked quotes and no personal content (opinion, review, discussion) and then ignoring any comments made on them. His only response when they've been discussed was thanking someone for telling him to keep spamming. He hasn't replied to the discussions I've tried to start based on his posts, and he probably won't reply to this either.
The only reason you're claiming it's not spam is because the links are on your side, but he's not contributing any more to the discussion than if he was posting 10+ links to discount kitchens.
Posting links is fine, but it's good etiquette to at least comment on them. Most other boards I'm on ban posting of links without comment. And so, copying the headline and first paragraph doesn't count as comment.0 -

In the course of looking at something else this morning, I stumbled upon someone saying about older diesel cars from Europe ending up in developing countries and their concern for it. I can't find the comment/article in my browsing history now to give a link.
My personal belief is that it would help the economic development of those countries, with potentially cheap (and largely unwanted) older vehicles being readily available for use outside the EU. This is especially apparent in the commercial vehicle sector where the driving down of prices for pre-2002ish vehicles would also help some people closer to home get their foot on the ladder. I'm talking stuff that is reasonably worth no more than about £1500 now, and at £500 would enable businesses to be started that at the current £1500 price point wouldn't be attainable.
There is concern from a group however (and I don't know how big this group is) for the environmental impacts that this may have on these countries.
Now, I do care about the environment however I don't see the point in throwing perfectly good used vehicles away when they could be put to effective use elsewhere just because they're not running on the newest or most efficient technology.
So, is the general view here that the environmental impacts of such a scheme would be too big, or that it would help other countries be in a better position to trade with us in the long run? Remember that this could create a new market for British parts suppliers (as a good number of older vans on the roads were built in the UK) in answering this.
I'm tipping towards the economic advantages for third countries, but would like your thoughts.
There are already established markets for 'recycling' diesel cars to Africa, especially for the sturdier 4WDs. A friend of mine sold his elderly Toyota Landcruiser on ebay. The car was running but first gear didn't work and it had other faults. The buyer wasn't fazed and said that the car would be broken down for spares and shipped to Africa an a crate. He obviously ran a lucrative business doing this.0 -

I've found a new potential JV within an Eastern EU country in the last 24 hours using my own contact book. There is a lot of untapped potential there.
My argument is that we are working from a better starting point when working with relatively wealthy countries, within the single market.
There is nothing stopping us at this time dealing with non-EU countries within the EU. As soon as I've typed this message I'll be speaking to a company in Russia and when I've done that I'll be speaking to a contact in Ukraine, which again looking at raw numbers will lead to an increase in supply for a small market.
To be able to produce goods within in the EU for EU sale, using the IP of non-EU companies is a huge advantage compared to licensing the same goods in each country and shipping them based on estimates that 99% of the time are wrong. 2 of the 3 situations above will likely involve physical goods at some stage.
Hampering free trade across the single market border will likely result in a decrease in products offered in the UK definitely in the situations above, and possibly with a number of companies selling at a specific price point while meeting a limited demand.
My target UK audience is around 91000 people within a broad range, so speaking more broadly the UK may either face price increases as a result of duties, or more likely be cut from the map completely as the maximum size of the market (which I admit I haven't utilised as well as I could have) is around £1.5m a year in gross sales, which leaves a margin of no more than around £60k for me to play with before my own marketing costs if everything goes to plan (as it rarely does).
You demonstrate what I've said all along about Brexit being a success AS CHANGE BREEDS INNOVATION.
We aren't jellyfish on a tide of indifference bobbing about, we will grasp change and opportunity - that's why I cant abide Remainer doom and hysteria0 -

Nothing to do with freedom of expression.
It's spam. Don't care whether it's lefty spam or righty spam.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

The added benefit of sending older vehicles to the 3rd world (in whole/parts) is that they tend to be more tolerant to bad fuel and be more mechanically simple, so they last longer over there and can be fixed more economically. Sure, half of the luxury features probably won't work anymore, and noone will both fixing them, but as long as it actually runs it's good enough for most.
Modern cars will be a nightmare fix in poor, remote regions. Can't plug an ECU into a computer to fault detect if you don't have the computer, or electricity :rotfl:0 -
