Remainers want to throw hands up in the air at every challenge.
I've always argued we need to innovate rather than panic, that change breeds innovation.
Dyson is setting up his own Universities to train up the next generation of engineers. Far better than hysterically claiming life will end once immigration is subject to better management.
Yes he was on radio 4 this morning selling it. It's a self publicity stunt. A bit like Trump's University!0 -
Another piece of remainer nonsense laid to rest; the UK is not at the back of the EU's line for a trade agreement:A trade agreement with post-Brexit Britain is a priority for the European Union and the United Kingdom will not have to wait in line behind others for talks to start, a senior European Commissioner said on Thursday. “I’ve read papers that sometimes refer to some of us saying that the UK is the last possible partner with whom we want to negotiate trade. Forget this nonsense,” Jyrki Katainen, one of six Commission vice presidents at the EU executive, told a news conference.Go on, give it a read. Yes I know, it's a bit lengthy, uses difficult words and doesn't contain pretty pictures.0

Your tit for tat response is inaccurate. The penny is beginning to drop with people who led the Brexit campaign in this country:- https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/sep/14/vote-leave-britain-single-market-tories-labour-brexit https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/sep/13/brexit-wont-solve-issues-that-led-to-leave-vote-says-mark-price-ex-trade-minister
If we're going down that road I would rather listen to Ringo Star.‘Get on with it’: Brexit is a ‘great move’ says Ringo Starr
Or are Ringo's opinions somehow worth less than those of anyone else, even those who might have ulterior motives for their opinions?

Project Fact:
What the Treasury report actually said and a link to the original for your perusal. Please note the 'after 15 years'.

Go on, give it a read. Yes I know, it's a bit lengthy, uses difficult words and doesn't contain pretty pictures.
Pasting to an irrelevant link proves zilch.
Several Select Committee hearings condemned misleading use of Treasury work and even the narrow parameters set them by Osborne. Mervyn King said the forecasts bought economics into disrepute.
Furthermore; Somehting I've argued on here for years - Economists big ticket forecasts are almost always wrong, so relying on a forecast 14 years out truly was very gullible;
IMF research reveals Economists’ forecasts virtually worthless

Or Bill Gates & Dyson in todays news.
Of course some Tories don't really get Brexit, let alone the vast opportunity ahead, hey ho.0 -
There are people on here quoting PWC's forecasts for the UK economy until 2050.
As long as they're positive.
But things are so much greener on the EU side of the fence, aren't they?
Like ......... in France maybe?France's economic growth has been lacklustre.It also helps explain why France has a shockingly high level of unemployment.
The jobless rate has been stuck at 10% or so for more than a decade and presently stands at 9.5%, the sixth highest in the EU, while youth unemployment helping explain the unrest and sense of fury in France's inner-city banlieues stands at 23.4%.
These jobless rates are more than twice the level of comparable European economies like Germany and the UK.0 -

One after another, Remain fairy tales evaporate;
1) They claimed we'd never be able to cope with adopting 40 yrs of laws. DONE
2) They said our citizens abroad would lose access to medical treatment in the EU. SORTED
3) They insisted our Universities & sciencewould go darn the pan. NEW INITIATIVES TO REPLICATE EU FUNDING SORTED.0
