    I doubt it - the manager will not want me back, repeating to members of staff some of the stuff she has said to me. I'm happy to think she's sh1tt1ng a brick thinking I'm going to make some sort of formal complaint - it's funny how quickly the freezer door has been fixed!:rotfl:

    The company I was working for is already under a lot of pressure from HSE and the local TSA. They are knowingly breaking the law with every food order that is sent out but they are allowed to continue to operate as long as they fulfill certain guidelines . . . . .

    The law is not always black and white - I have never worked under conditions like this - and it has to be a joke that anyone offering employment advice thinks that it is okay for workers to be treated unprofessionally . . .

    People offering employment advice should advise on what the law says. Not what that individual wants the law to say.

    There is no point advising someone to pursue a claim which would simply be thrown out by a court or employment tribunal.

    Issuing hopeless claims will often lead to an order that you be required to pay the employer's legal costs. This can be thousands of pounds.

    I'm confused. Who do you think deals with your grievance? Yes it may well be a joke, but they are entitled to run the business as they see fit as long as they meet statutory minimums, which you said they are.

    I've never mentioned making a claim - I wanted to know why they were so insistent that I gave written notice.

    They've had that - now all I want is my P60 so I can move on and start a new job asap.

    P45, not P60 (P45 is for the end of employment, P60 is for the end of the tax year).

    And you don't need your P45 when starting new emplyment, although if you don't have it there's a possibility that you may end up paying more tax for a bit (Which you'll get back eventually),
