I periodically have my Linksys modem/router fail on me. Try 'refreshing' it - unplug router from mains and phone. Log off and switch off computer. Put kettle on while router cools down. Plug in router into phone and mains. Drink coffee while the lights settle down. Boot up computer. Not very techie, but it does work for me.

Dave G, zzzLazyDaisy, out of interest do you leave your modems on all the time.? I normally switch off (the modem!) at night - not so much the leccie saving, more concerned that it may just burst into flames.
