No but I remove alot of stuff from windows through regedit, to make it a cleaner appearance, I think the website Windows Central tells you how to do this and if you aren't comfortable using regedit, you can download tweaks that will do it for you.
  • If you type in other languages the international keyboard is very helpful (please note when you press shift ‘2’ does @ and ‘ does “).

Here's another little 'trick' I use on my Windows 10:

    When I type @ I get "

To solve this, I hold the Windows key down and while it is down, I press the space bar once. A small 'dialogue box' appears and 'English (United Kingdom) United Kingdom Keyboard' is highlighted in blue.

As I have to do this every day there is probably a permanent fix . . . suggestions please?
Stay on UK keyboard, this happens when I’m on international keyboard, try the settings and change keyboard.

    That’s interesting, @GabiB. Thanks.

I’ve always used the Character Map App to type ‘é’ as in café etc when using a computer.

    would've . . . could've . . . should've . . .

You'd be surprised how subtle little tweaks like that can really mess up your muscle memory... took me ages to get used to the UK keyboard layout when I moved here from Aus...

We've got a load of new keyboards where the rh Ctrl key is / and \ instead. Drives me nuts ...

Yes. I’m really glad I haven’t had to change my keyboard (I have one I connect to my laptop via a cable & usb connection) because I still more-or-less touch type & use a lot of keyboard shortcuts I’m not even conscious I’m using until I use someone else’s keyboard & have to keep stopping & looking.
