Hold down the 'Windows' key on your keyboard and while it is down tap once on the 'L' key.
All it does is Lock the computer so people (and, for instance, keyboard-walking cats) can't access things you have open. Except for some apps like Spotify which can leave functioning audio controls on the Lock screen in the latest Windows/Spotify version.0 -
Obviously past my bedtime when I posted that yesterday Jivesinger, so thanks, and I will edit my post to make sense.
I meant 'lock'. I do it because it is kinder to other people if they want to use the same computer. In the workplace it keeps what you are working on safe from being accidentally altered by someone leaning on the keyboard!

I will probably be making other posts in a similar vein. My point will be my relief that the old tricks I used to use on Windows 8 are still working on Windows 10. I will try to remember to say so when I post.

Top Tips:
1. Power Computer on and download Firefox or Chrome. Stop using EDGE.
2. Use your new browser to download and install Classic shell.
3. Download and install 7+ Taskbar Tweaker.
4. Probably too late but when first running windows 10 create a local account not a MS account.
