I had missing cashback on a single transaction, it was the one which maxed out the cashback for August. I send a message via internet banking and was resolved in about a week.

My account had cashback constipation, nothing credited for two weeks and then a flurry of activity but many don't seem to match purchases, will try and do a reconciliation over the weekend.

Received a phone raising a query and their initial response was to contact visa offers as its nothing to do with them.

I think the CS need to be cautious regarding the wording they are using.

I am also HSBC account holder for over 10 yrs. I do not remember receiveing any email regarding this CB offer. It might be on targeted customer basis

Sorry, to clarify, it's a genuine offer but when I called up the agent on the phone he didn't know about the offer and said it could be a scam and said to forward it to their phishing dept

I was arguing on the phone saying it wasn't, pointing them to the previously paid cashback payments, but they were having none of it.

Anyway, the cashback seems to be paying out again so it's sorted itself out.
