Amazon do promote Prime but you'd need to be pretty unobservant to take it accidently.0

This is a dishonest, fraudulent company. They took a payment for Prime at the same time as I paid for an order for something else. I never requested this service and I am furious at their blant theft! They have also informed me that they will take another payment in October. On contacting the credit card company I was informed that they are notorious and the worst company for this kind of behaviour and are making thousands of pounds from unsuspecting customers. People please check very carefully that this doesn't happen to you. Fortunately the payment has been returned and I have made sure to put a stop to any future payments. There will be no more orders from me to this company. If I didn't need it for my Kindle I'd close my account. Buyers beware!!0

Prime is brilliant and amazing value for money, not a day goes by that I don't use it.0 -

1) Why reesurrect a year old thread
2) Just be honest, you didn't read what you signed up for did you.0 -
I can't praise Amazon enough. Have prime and it's a great product. I can't believe an employee working in the credit card industry would slate any company, they would only have one side of a story.0

Its not blatant theft, maybe more a case you just didn't read what was on screen.
Ive just done a dummy purchase and theres only 1 point where your asked if you want to trial Prime.0 -

But you are asked?
Yes?
Years ago there were numerous threads about people supposedly being automatically signed up to Amazon Prime but screenshots showed that you had to click to sign up.
I just think that a lot of people just can't be bothered to read what's in front of them.0 -

The majority of people won't have this happen to them because the majority of people READ what they are signing up to. Amazon does NOT automatically sign people up to Prime - you have to select the option.
Pick your toys up and next time you want something that is cheaper on Amazon than anywhere else what's the betting you'll quietly forget about this blatantly thieving company and order from them?0
