That's just the best bit, the snuggling. Simple pleasures.:)

Exactly, some things in life are absolutely free and the most precious.

Omg have just made £102 on eBay!!! Not including postage. Obv fees have to come out of that but even if it works out at £80 that's still pretty amazing, for less than 2 hours work, which is how long it took me to list them! Am amazed!
  • Amazing! Well done :D

That's brilliant, maybe I should actually try rather than assuming it will generate pennies.

Morning Missy hope you're okay today :) x

Thanks, im OK, feeling a bit lonesome but ok. I am currently doing work at home due to not having v much concentration last week so didn't get much done! :o boring spreadsheets.

Hey Redo, it's weird what sells to be honest! Things I thought would go for more haven't gone for a lot, but others have that I assumed wouldn't sell! Should have listed 20 more last night but just didn't get chance. Will do some next Sunday.

Not sure what to do today, need to work most of the morning, but would like to take the small ones to the library maybe. Need to try and get to T£sco again and get some of the books I saw and keep them for Christmas. But Cant really take the small ones! Am going to spend the £30 credit on my MBNa card on that before I close it down, don't want to lose the £30. Am determined not to pound the CC this Christmas already have lots of things for Xmas. Sorry to keep mentioning it!!!!

    This weeks lists.
    Finish work spreadsheet and accounts!
Tidy house and actually wash floor
    Clean toilets
    Sort washing, again!!!!
    Sort bedroom
Pick up package from post office
    Post eBay stuff
    Do some exercise
    Get hair cuts

Not posted on your diary before, intact I don't post much at all, but I have been reading and cheering you on from afar. My lightbulb moment was so long ago that it was more like a candle moment!
Reading your last post I felt I had to offer some advice. Feel free to ignore it if you wish. You say that you are going to "spend the £30 credit" on books for the children for Christmas. If instead you think that you are going to BORROW £30 to buy books for your children, and have to pay back maybe twice as much with the interest, and be paying for this Christmas for many years to come, you may not add more to your debt today. Put a date on your calendar in the Christmas holidays to take them to the library. They are still young enough to be happy with very little for Christmas. One day soon they will be asking for help with uni fees, i- phones and driving lessons! It would be nice to be debt free by then to be able to provide some of these wants.
Keep up the good work, M2m.
    Frugal Living Challenge 2026.

Thanks for posting lovely, it's really nice if you to pop in with advice. It's not actually birding money it's money I overpaid and it is in credit in the account, I need to spend it or try and take it out as to not lose it as would like to close that card off. You are right, I could spend it on debt repayments. That would get me debt free quicker. And I should really take these to the library, I keep talking about going.
I would love to be able to help them with uni fees etc. Do need to think a bit more about things.

Very nearly did an online Tesco shop for no apparent reason, I guess when the small ones were asleep I thought I'd eat healthier and shoved loads of healthy food and cleaning products into my online basket. Came to a whopping £40 before I came to my senses! I didn't need any of it, more of just a want! I'm obviously struggling with not spending, obviously more than I think! Bored of working, have lots to do though!
