But the email addy in post #6 always works, every time. No need to use the David Potts email, except maybe because the OP left their complaint strangely late.
I have now contacted Morrisons, who cannot do anything as it has gone through POPLA.
Should have complained immediately to the retailer, it is their fault. I am constantly AMAZED people don't complain to retailers every time, straight away.

If one of their security staff tried to fine you for 'walking on the cracks in the pavement', or the till operator tried to fine a shopper for 'taking too long to pack' or 'not queuing in a straight line', people would be up in arms, but when it's the parking operator, WHY do people not complain straight away?

I should have complained direct to Morrisons when I got the notice, but unfortunately hindsight is wonderful, I thought that being broke down is quite a valid reason, but obviously not.
I shall email the suggested email address also.
    Thank you all.

Of course it is a valid reason in a fair and just world, but you entered PPC land where money it the route of all evil!

I had a very similar situation as you with the same supermarket chain. My key snapped off in the ignition. I phoned for help from my recovery company and then when straight to the store's security desk, explained what was going on (made them aware for the express purpose of not getting a "ticket") gave them my car details and offered to show them what had happened (they declined to look). When, a mere four and a half hours later, I was towed away I did so in the knowledge that I wasn't going to receive a NTK in the post.

Contacted Morrisons on the email suggested, got the same response, can't do anything as it has gone through POPLA.
So will have to wait and see what happens from here.

OK, have you got a LBCCC yet? When PE send that, email them with proof of the breakdown:

    enforcement@parkingeye.co.uk

You may think they've already got your appeal/evidence of breakdown, but that's not the appeal team, it's the team that decides whether to issue court papers or not. Different people, so start again.

    Hi coupon-mad,
What is an LBCCC? Is that the appeal number?

Ah, ok, Letter Before County Court Claim, no I have not got this.
So I shall email parking eye as suggested and see what they say.
Shall I include that I have already appealed to them and POPLA?

Don't do anything until you have the LBCCC.

Morrisons are telling big fat porkies about cant do anything as its gone through popla. As principal they can instruct their agents to cancel at anytime, even upto judgement in court.
