Just write a letter and send it off, even better use local businesses, take in a letter explaining what you are doing and would they be willing to donate
My mum did this for a tenants and residents association summer party for the kids and wanted to do a raffle for the community, she just went to the local shopping centre and asked! she ended up with a £40 PAYG phone from 02 with £10 talktime and a £20 box of chocs from Thorntons0 -
Ever since I saw the guy on Martin's new Channel 5 programme doing the competitions I've been giving it a go. Only thing is he said he only spent about 40 mins a day doing comps .... and I seem to spend up to a couple of hour a day
Just wondered how long the people on here with the inspiring footnote lists of their wins spend per day doing comps, and whether they are selective on which ones to enter or not.0 -
i would say i spend about an hour or two a day but i usually have a couple of pages up and check emails or news at the same time while pages are loading.
then again i am not a big winner so maybe i am not the best example!good luck to you tho in the future

I used other boards but started comping here in november. Won some bits, best win so far my £1,000 of heart fm,
Im an obsessive compulsive person, so i mess around comping for around 4/5hrs properly, but seem to drift off and get side tracked easily. I try to do at least 100+ a day, today was mad and i have tallyed over 300+ , Im hoping i stick with comping as i enjoy it.
Good luck hope you win lots of lovely bits, dont give up!
This is the friendliest place on mse by far.#JusticeForGrenfell0
